I want to make sure everybody's taking care of themselves,

Make sure you're in something comfortable because we're gonna be chit-chatting for about 45 minutes.

Make sure that if you want to take notes,

You can do that as well or if you have a journal,

That's always helpful to have with you.

And then if you know me and you've been to any of my live events,

You know that I am a preacher about making sure that you're drinking water.

That as we do energy work,

Whether you're doing sound healing,

Whether we're working on being an empath,

Anything that you're working on healing yourself,

It's taking a lot of energy for your body to do that and water is one of the number one things that will help us feel better and also heal faster.

Giving you a little bit of information and then we're gonna get into all of the actual grounding and shielding techniques that we're gonna practice this evening and all of this information is from my course here on Insight Timer called An Empath's Guide to Thriving.

My name is Sarah Kreitzer.

My name is Sarah Kreitzer and you can also call me by my medicine name,

Ezra Alaya.

Ezra means the helper and Alaya means on the path towards the light and that's literally what I do is I'm a helper on your path towards the light.

Normally I'm using sound but I'm also an energy worker.

I've been an energy worker since 2010 and I've been working with clients since 2015.

So since that I have learned a lot about being an empath.

I've learned tools and tricks and tips to just kind of make life and the quality of life a little bit easier because if you're highly empathic or you're a highly sensitive person,

A lot of the things that are coming at you are very difficult for your system to navigate and instead of looking at it as something like a gift,

Something that you can navigate and can make the quality of your life better and improve with it,

We look at it a lot like a curse and so that's why I'm doing these live events.

That's why I have the course is because your empathic side,

Your empathy is not anything to put in a corner.

It's not anything to hide.

It is one of your greatest strengths and that's what we're going to talk about today.

We're going to talk about things to bring those strengths out and to make you feel strong and it's like muscle memory.

The more you practice these tools and techniques,

The better it's going to be.

If it takes you three or four times to do some of these things,

That's okay.

No one's judging you.

When I started doing some of this stuff,

It was every five minutes because my brain needed to get into different patterns.

My brain needed that muscle memory.

I needed to get my vibration up higher and when you're in a low vibration,

It's really hard so that's why I'm here to help you.

We're gonna hold space and we're just gonna talk about some of these amazing techniques that have helped me,

Okay?

Alright,

Excuse me a minute as I clear my throat and get some tea.

Okay,

So I'm actually going to be pulling up my notes from the course.

So I'm telling you things strictly and directly from an empath's guide to thriving course here on Insight Timer and what we're gonna do is I'm gonna just start talking about ways to manage your energy as an empath.

Now,

You know you're an empath now.

You've gone through the course.

You've gotten halfway through.

You've gotten all this information and you're probably sitting there going,

Okay,

So I have all this information.

Now what?

Now what am I gonna do with it?

Well,

The hardest thing is not knowing because once we have that information,

We can begin to integrate it into our lives,

Hold on to the information that feels good,

That works for us,

Let go of the information that doesn't and then use that to raise our vibration.

Okay,

So now that you know you're an empath,

I don't want you to panic.

You're with me.

Okay,

You're here with friends.

We're gonna talk about how to get you strong,

How to make you feel good,

How to make you feel grounded and authentic in your body all the time because that's what this is about.

Okay,

First thing,

When you are an empath,

A highly sensitive person,

When you are feeling energy,

Emotions,

Thoughts,

Feelings from other people,

From places,

From things,

Honestly one of the most important things that you can do for your energy is to get sleep.

Being exhausted,

Being tired automatically stops us from being able to run and generate and shield and ground our energy.

When we're tired,

It's almost like we instantly start floating up into the sky.

Our energetic body is no longer connected to Mama Earth and we are spacey,

We are floating around and sometimes we even feel like we're watching ourselves from afar.

So one of the most important things that you can do as an empath is to get good sleep,

Okay?

And this changes throughout the year.

I sleep so much more in fall and winter.

That's okay.

I burn a lot in spring and summer.

I'm now aware of my patterns and in fall and winter,

I give myself more naps.

I had a nap today because I knew I was gonna come on here with you guys tonight and I wanted to be at a level where I could hold space,

Where I could provide this information with you and also do it grounding,

Feeling grounded.

So this is why I want you to make sure that you're getting sleep.

There's lots of things you can do to help you get to sleep.

I've got sleeping meditations on Insight Course,

Excuse me,

On Insight Timer.

There are lots of other meditations as well.

You know,

There's vitamins you can take,

There's tea you can drink,

But whatever you need to do to figure out how to give yourself good sleep,

Do that,

Okay?

That's the number one thing you can do to take care of yourself.

Oh yes,

This full moon is also not helping with all of this energy.

It is very crazy right now.

So I'm glad that we're all here hanging out together.

We are 32,

Let's keep going though.

All right,

The next thing to make sure that you're taking care of yourself as an empath and you're navigating your energy very well is to get out into nature,

Okay?

And I'm not saying like you got to go on a six-mile hike and you got to set it up and take a whole day.

I'm saying on your lunch break,

You know,

Go outside,

Go behind the parking lot and go for a walk.

Get away from the hustle and bustle,

Get away from technology,

You know,

Get away from the everyday patterns that we're doing in this very chaotic world and just get grounded with mama nature.

Look at the clouds,

Feel what the actual weather is on your skin.

Is it slightly chilly?

Is it nice and warm?

Is it kind of humid outside?

Just give your body a chance to get all of the icky EMS and electrons off of your body and when you go to nature,

It just completely wipes those off and it helps to ground you.

So something super easy,

Honestly,

When I walk by trees,

I give them a little tap.

Hey tree,

Nice to see you.

I give them a little tap.

It makes me feel good and every time I touch the tree,

I'm getting grounded and it's taking away any negative energies that I just don't want,

That don't feel good and that's another great thing about mama nature is you don't have to go out there with a specific intention.

You can go out there going,

I feel icky mama,

What can I do?

And mama nature is gonna take care of you.

She's going to take away all that ickiness and infuse you with something new or at least shift you and isn't that what we're really looking for?

We're looking for a way to shift out of this current vibration that we're in so that we can have that better quality of life like I was talking about.

Next thing on our list to help you as an empath stay grounded and stay in your body and be able to stay present,

Right?

Not disconnect and not disassociate is we always need to stay mindful.

Now what is mindful?

Mindful is not being over analyzing,

It's not being critical and it's not being harsh on yourself,

Okay?

Being mindful is a state of consciousness where we are not allowing our brain and the energies to just run away.

We are with the energies,

We're present with the energies.

Doesn't mean we're absorbing them but we're aware they're happening.

It's like when you meditate and you know that these thoughts are crossing by going through your brain and you're sitting there trying to not focus on the thought and you think okay it's like a leaf,

A leaf floating on the top of the lake going by me and it's just going by me and there goes the thought and it's gone or it's like a cloud in the sky,

A cloud that you watch and it's just floating by and that's the thought and as soon as the cloud is floated away the thought is gone and you just let it go.

So that's really what mindfulness is about is it's about observing what your mind is doing not judging yourself.

It's all information my friends,

Okay?

Your mind is not against you,

It's there to help you and we're just learning how to navigate.

We're learning how to get our mind and our heart and our body all on the same page because that's how we can be authentic and that's how we can really use all of our empathic skills and turn them into the amazing gifts and make our life what we want it to be.

So here we go,

Next thing on our list as we move down.

Oh very cool,

Gary I like it.

Red maples are a phenomenal protection tree and I suggest you do some more research and just kind of see and go hang out with your tree and go talk to it and see what it has to say because trees are very fun and they take care of us and they're always always looking out for us.

We just have to be knowing that they're there.

So rock on Gary for being aware of it.

Alright now we're gonna start getting into some serious work and we're gonna do some visualizations.

So this next part of getting grounded as an empath,

What does it mean to get grounded?

All this means is you are connecting your energy to Mama Earth's energy.

It's like you are creating an actual cord,

A positive cord now,

Not a negative emotional cord.

You're creating a positive cord connecting to the very core of Mama Earth's energy.

And we're gonna do this little meditation that I have in the course and I want you to do this with me.

And it's gonna be kind of a little weird because I'm gonna close my eyes and I'm gonna do the meditation.

I'm gonna talk with you out loud and I just want you to follow along.

So this is one of my favorite grounding techniques.

It's an imaginary or a visualization meditation.

And what we're gonna do is I'm gonna take a sip of tea and I want you guys to get comfortable.

Close your eyes,

You know,

If you need to turn the lights down a little bit,

If you want to relax,

Put your head back.

This is a chance for you to just kind of listen and hang out,

All right?

You don't need to do anything but just follow along with my voice and my words.

So what we're gonna do is we're going to close our eyes and we are gonna practice this amazing tree roots grounding visualization that just always immediately makes you feel better and makes you feel connected and makes you feel safe.

And that's really what it is about.

As an empath we want to make sure that as we're spiraling and all these emotions and all these things are coming our way,

We're still able to ground ourselves,

Handle ourselves,

And protect ourselves,

Right?

Because there's a lot happening,

There's a lot coming at us.

All right,

Here we go.

First thing I want you to do,

My friends,

Take a nice deep breath.

I want you to feel beautiful,

Sparkly,

Radiant energy just sprinkling down from the universe coming into your head,

Warming up your head,

Waking you up into this present space.

And I want you to bring that beautiful energy all the way down your neck,

Down your chest,

Out your shoulders and arms,

Filling up your entire heart space with this beautiful,

Yummy,

Universal,

Sparkly energy.

We're gonna bring that energy that's now fully in our heart space all the way down through our belly,

Through our hips,

Through our legs,

Down through our knees until we feel this energy swirling in our ankles.

And just enjoy this light,

Airy feeling of loving energy from the universe swirling in your body.

When you're ready,

I want you to focus on the feeling of your feet and feel your feet connecting to Mother Earth.

Feel the energy pulsating out of her and into you when you're ready.

I want you to imagine beautiful tree roots.

They can look any way you want.

They can be any color.

They can be knotted.

They can be squared.

They can be braided.

They can be swirly and whirly.

It doesn't matter.

However your tree roots look and come to you in your mind,

That's what I want you to imagine.

And just go with it.

Your tree roots growing out of the bottom of your feet into the very tippy-top,

Very crust of Mama Earth.

These tree roots are gonna grow through the floor of your house,

Through all of the piping,

Through the dirt,

Around all of the rocks,

Through any water,

Any creeks,

Anything that is in the crust and the top layer of the Earth's surface.

Your tree roots are going to go down and around.

They are going to keep going down.

The whole point is they are going to grow towards the center of Mama Earth's energy,

The very core of our Earth.

Once your tree roots are grown through the crust,

We are now going to enter the second phase,

Which is the burning hot magma.

Now your tree roots do not get affected by the heat.

They do not burn off.

If anything,

It's burning off the negative energy,

The old patterns,

The icky stagnation that's still on you that is surrounding your tree roots,

Making your tree roots brighter,

Making them stronger,

Making them clearer and a clearer connection between you and between Mama Earth.

Allow your beautiful,

Amazing tree roots to grow down through this second layer of the magma,

Of the lava,

Of the hottest part of our Earth,

Of the fire and the passion.

Just let it grow down deeper and deeper,

Burning off all of the negativity,

Anything that no longer serves you until you reach the very center of our Earth,

The very rock,

The spinning crater that you can lock into and ground your energy.

I want you to take your beautiful tree roots and I want you to plant them.

Send them through Mama Earth's core.

Let them come out the other side.

Tie them around her.

Braid them around her.

However you need to get your roots connected to Mama Earth,

Do so now.

When you feel and see yourself and your roots fully connected to Mama Earth's energy,

I want you to take a deep breath in and exhale all the negativity,

All of the fear,

All of the uncomfortability and all of the inauthentic self that you've been holding on to and I want you to just breathe it out,

Allowing the feeling of Mama Earth's energy to completely engulf every aspect of your body,

Of your cells,

Feeling her connection pulsating from your legs all the way to the tippy tops of your hairs.

When you feel fully connected,

Grounded,

Tied in,

Anchored into Mama Earth's core,

I want you to simply follow back your tree roots.

Simply follow them back through the magma,

Around whatever was burnt off,

Until you get back to the crust of the earth and you're coming up with Mama Earth's energy and your tree roots still connected until they are completely,

Ooh this is good,

Your tree roots are coming out of the crust of the earth and they're wrapping around the bottom part of your feet.

Now Mama Earth's energy is connecting and binding with your energy.

You exchanged with her,

She exchanged with you,

You both are fully connected and grounded.

When you're ready,

Take a deep breath,

Open your eyes and just kind of observe how you feel.

Observe where your energy's at,

How your body feels,

How your mind is acting.

Just be in the moment.

Now what's cool about this meditation is every time I do it,

It comes out a little different.

The idea is that you have your tree roots,

Your energy and Mama Earth together.

If you redo this visualization,

However it comes out in your mind,

It's okay.

It's the fact that you're doing it.

It's the fact that you're mindfully and that you're actively grounding your energy to Mama Earth and you're saying no,

Everything else that's going on doesn't matter.

What matters right now is me,

My peace,

My energy.

Okay,

So this visualization can change.

If it's not tree roots and you want chains,

If you want ropes,

If you want diamonds,

Whatever you want to connect your feet to Mama Earth's grounding energy in that core,

That rock,

That's what you do.

Okay,

And you practice it.

You practice it.

Like I said,

I do this all the time.

Some days I'm doing it quite often,

Especially when I'm going out grocery shopping,

When I'm going out to places where there's lots of energy built up.

I just went to a meeting at my child's school and I had to do lots of grounding there because it was very,

It was just a lot of energy for me.

So like I said,

Even though I've been doing this for years,

I still have to do it occasionally quite a few times during the day.

That's what healing is.

Healing isn't one and done.

It's recognizing and being mindful when something's triggering you and then giving yourself that self-love,

Giving yourself that self-care so that you can become untriggered and you can move forward.

That's ultimately what healing is about.

I mean,

Our ego would love that one and done,

But I think most of us have recognized that it's a continuous and that we just keep getting better at it.

Okay,

So the more you practice this visualization,

The better you'll get.

The muscle memory,

Your brain will get stronger and it'll become easier.

There'll be times where you'll realize,

Oh,

I don't need to be freaking out right now.

I can be sending my energy to Mama Earth.

I can be feeling better and I'm gonna be getting,

My brain will be able to relax and I'll be able to get better information because of it.

So I love this grounding technique.

Okay,

Now that we've talked about grounding,

We're gonna talk about shielding.

Now these two things go hand in hand,

Okay?

As an empath,

You can't just ground,

You also have to shield.

If we're only doing one,

We're only doing 50% of the work to really take care of ourselves,

Okay?

So grounding helps you stay connected to yourself,

Helps you stay connected to Mama Earth,

Helps you stay calm.

Shielding is what is going to prevent that negative energy,

Those emotions,

Those patterns,

Other people's thought process.

Shielding is what's gonna help you keep that from entering your own auric field.

It's exactly what it sounds like.

You're creating an energetic barrier,

An energetic shield between you and the energies around you,

Okay?

Oh my gosh,

This is just fun.

I freaking love this so much,

So thank you.

All right,

Our first shielding technique,

Which is something I absolutely love,

And we're gonna practice these as well.

These aren't gonna be as long as the grounding visualizations because they're a little bit,

Shielding is a little bit quicker than grounding,

So let's just get to it.

So one of my favorite and one of the first shielding techniques that I want to talk to you about from the course,

An Empath's Guide to Thriving,

Is the bubble of white light,

Okay?

Now this visualization is literally,

Okay,

Do you know the saying when you were little,

I'm rubber,

You're glue?

Whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you.

Well every time I talk about the bubble of white light shield protection,

That's what my brain thinks of.

That's what my my 11 year old child-like self reminds me of,

And that's really what it is,

Is we're creating a bubble that is going to surround your auric fields so that anything that's coming at you is just gonna bounce off of it,

Okay?

And this is a super easy meditation.

We're just gonna kind of close our eyes.

I'm gonna get a sip of tea real quick.

You're just gonna kind of close your eyes.

You're gonna kind of feel your body,

You know,

Take a couple of deep breaths.

Now we can do this either two ways,

Okay?

You can envision the bubble of white light in front of you,

Okay?

So what we're gonna do is we're gonna see this beautiful,

Amazing,

Huge,

Six-foot bubble of white light,

And it's got rainbows in it,

Just like how when you blow soap bubbles,

Children's soap bubbles,

They see that iridescent rainbow color.

This bubble of white light has that as well,

And it's shimmering,

And it's moving,

And as you get closer,

The bubble of white light opens,

You step in,

And the bubble of white light closes behind you.

You are now completely encrusted in protection from a spirit,

Protection of energy,

And you'll be able to be more mindful and in tune to the energies around you because you're shielding,

You're actively putting something in front of all of the other energies that are around you.

So you can either step into the bubble of white light,

Or you can envision your bubble of white light above your head.

A nice,

Big,

Large,

Six-foot bubble,

It's got to fit all of you.

Remember,

You can't have a finger sticking out,

You can't have an ear,

You have to have this bubble,

Has to have all of you in it,

And you want to envision this beautiful white bubble of light above your head,

And it slowly starts to come down,

Slowly engulfing your head,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your chest,

Your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet,

And then it closes underneath your feet so that the bubble is completely sealed.

Now you're protected,

Your aura has that shield,

And anytime that anything's coming at you,

That bubble of white light is gonna seriously just ricochet it back off.

And again,

This is something that you practice,

Shielding is something just like muscle memory,

You got to remind yourself,

Oh man,

I'm in a,

You know,

Crazy space right now with lots of people,

I've got to make sure that I'm shielding.

So this would be one of those techniques,

And like I said,

You can either walk into it,

Or you can step out,

Excuse me,

You can either walk into your bubble,

Or you can have it come down from above you.

Uh-oh,

Gary,

You can't hear me,

Is it because you're so lulled out?

Oh,

You're so funny,

You guys are so silly.

Just keep on going with these shielding techniques,

Because like I said,

They're super quick and super easy.

The next one is gonna be the Rose Shield.

Now this is more of a metaphysical technique,

A lot of people that are readers are gonna probably know about this one.

In the metaphysical world,

Everybody has a rose,

Okay?

Everybody has a rose,

You hold it,

You have it in front of you,

You're holding on to it.

Now this rose is your energy,

Your energy field,

Your auric field,

However you want to think about it.

Now we don't give our roses to other people,

And we don't accept roses from other people.

This is not The Bachelor,

Okay people?

This is energetic safety.

So what this means is,

I want you to close your eyes,

And I want you to envision a room,

And yourself,

And just a whole bunch of people.

And everybody's walking around with roses,

Okay?

You have your rose in front of you,

It can be any color,

I like red.

You have your rose in front of you,

You're holding on to it,

You walk up to somebody,

Right?

They try and give you their rose,

That's the representation of their energy.

And you tell them,

No thank you.

Even if you want to have your rose touch their rose,

And say,

Oh thank you,

But no thank you.

Now in this room of people,

You're gonna notice you've got people that are holding bouquets.

You've got people that have no roses,

You've got people that have a line of roses behind them.

You're gonna see roses in places that are not in front of the person,

In front of their chest.

And this is exactly what the rose is,

It's the reminder of your energy,

It's a reminder of where you're putting your energy,

And it's a reminder how it's yours.

You do not have to give it away,

And it does not have to be,

And it cannot be taken either.

Nobody can come up to you and take your rose,

That has to be something that you're willingly doing.

So in this visualization,

All you do every day is just walk around with your imaginary rose,

Okay?

And you just always make sure that it's in front of you,

In your chest.

And any time that you do a meditation,

Or you're walking around outside,

Or you're becoming energetically overwhelmed,

You sit there and you check in with your rose.

Is your rose in front of you?

Did you move it to the side?

Did you give it to somebody?

Have you forgot it at home by your nightstand?

You know,

It's more of a reminder of your energy,

And I'm hoping that makes a little sense.

It's kind of like,

That's why it's the metaphysical,

Because it's also more of a metaphor,

But isn't that what meditation is?

It's the visualization that we're,

Our brain is doing,

So that we can create these emotions and these new patterns.

So I find it very exciting.

So I like the rose one simply because it also reminds me that everybody's got a rose,

Everybody's in charge of their own energy,

And there are people out there that are collectors,

That just want energy,

And there are people out there that don't know how to handle their energy,

So they're giving it away a lot,

And this is just,

Again,

A great way for you to be able to stay grounded and in tune to your energy and your rose.

Okay,

Another fabulous shielding technique.

Holy cow,

We're gonna keep going with our shielding.

Oh my gosh,

I don't have enough time.

We need to get into high gear here.

Here we go.

The next shielding technique is going to be the Golden Pyramid.

Now,

This is very similar to the bubble of white light.

This is just going to be a pyramid,

Okay?

And so what we're gonna do for this one is you're gonna just close your eyes,

And again,

You're just going to take some deep breaths,

And you're just going to envision this beautiful golden light above your head,

All right?

And as this light grows bigger and bigger,

It starts to become a pyramid,

And you see the top of your head beginning to be in the top of the pyramid.

As it comes down to surround your body,

It puts down angled golden walls that energy cannot get through,

Around,

Or into.

So you're putting and bringing down these beautiful golden slanted walls all the way around your body.

And then once you have all this taken care of,

I want you to make sure that you connect the Golden Pyramid underneath your feet,

Okay?

It's super important to do this because otherwise you're giving energies a chance to come in underneath and come into your auric fields,

Okay?

So anytime you're doing a shielding technique,

You want to make sure you get the top and you're getting the bottom,

Okay?

We want to make sure we've got that pyramid,

And we close it off.

So the visualization is you are completely encompassed in this six-foot,

Super large,

Beautiful,

Golden,

Shiny triangle,

This pyramid that comes down and radiates positive energy,

Because triangles bring in energy and direct it,

And it's radiating your positive energy.

And it's also protecting you and stopping any other negative energies from coming in.

So whether you like the Bubble of White Light,

You like the Rose Shield,

Or you like the Golden Pyramid visualization,

All of them are going to be helpful,

Okay?

They're going to be,

They're going to be vibrationally easy for you to do,

And eventually there's going to be one that just,

Your body's like,

Ooh,

This is the one,

Ooh,

I like this one a lot.

So just go with it,

You know?

Again,

This is information.

There's no judgment,

And it's whatever works for yourself,

Okay?

So I'm giving you a whole bunch of different techniques,

And if you try one and you don't like it,

Throw that one out the window.

Try the next one,

Okay?

Even though we're all empaths,

There's still going to be certain techniques that are going to work better for our energy field,

And not as well for others.

And it's really just about being open.

It's just all information,

Okay?

So don't judge,

Don't let your little minds go crazy inside.

I know how my mind can get really mean sometimes,

So that's not what it is.

All it is is practice,

Okay?

Alright,

Other ways that you can shield your energy.

Here we go,

Here we go.

Oh,

One of my favorites.

Okay,

So another thing that you can do to protect your energy is to wear a talisman.

Now,

I don't have any of mine on currently,

Because I also have crystals and things all over the room.

I've got a rose quartz in the back.

I've got talismans.

Whenever I work on my computer,

I always have protection,

Energetic protection.

When I go to the store,

I'm wearing certain crystals.

I'm wearing,

I have special necklaces from my grandmother.

So it's really about a talisman,

If anything,

Any type of material,

Accessory,

Anything that's physical that you can bring with you to remind you to ground your energy,

To protect yourself,

That gives you that extra little bit,

Okay?

Some people,

It could be stuff like,

You know,

Their grandparents buckle for their belt.

Like it really is anything that you think of.

It's not so much specifically a specific crystal or a specific metaphysical way of doing something.

Excuse me,

Guys.

It's about what that talisman's energy holds for you.

How does it make you feel?

How strong,

How connected to that energy are you when you wear it?

That's what it's about.

So when you wear your talismans,

Make sure that it's something that uplifts you and raises your vibration,

And it's not something that brings you down,

Okay?

Just something to be aware of.

Another fabulous thing that I like to do when I'm very angry or when I have a lot of energy that is overwhelming me and I can't focus,

I like to blow it up,

Okay?

So oh,

But we're gonna talk about this blowing up energy.

Okay,

So you're angry,

You're upset,

You've got a lot of energy.

You need to get rid of it,

Okay?

Now,

A lot of times we're out in public and screaming loud,

Throwing things,

Like doing the stuff that actually physically gets this energy out of us is not socially acceptable.

I get it.

It's not okay.

I don't like it either,

But this is why I love this blow-up technique because you can be sitting in your office,

I mean pissed off,

I mean on fire,

About ready to lose it,

And you can remember this technique,

Okay?

I call it the blow-up.

I'm gonna call it the blow-up technique.

What you do,

Okay?

You literally take a huge balloon or suitcase or container or bag,

It doesn't matter,

And you fill it with all that icky energy.

You physically see your brain taking those icky thoughts,

Putting it in a bag,

Taking those icky thoughts,

Those icky feelings,

Putting it in a balloon.

You visualize removing this energy out of your brain,

Okay?

Once you visualize it,

What you've done is you've taken now all of this energy that you had in your body,

You've taken it and you put it outside of your body.

Now we can do something with it,

Right?

Because it's not running you crazy anymore.

So you've got a balloon,

A suitcase,

A bag,

Metaphorically,

In your office filled up with all of your emotions,

All of your ickiness,

All of that energy you want to get rid of,

Okay?

All you do,

You simply let the balloon go,

You throw the bag up in the air,

You throw the suitcase up in the air,

And you grab your favorite weapon of choice.

I'm talking cannon,

I'm talking slingshot,

I'm talking crossbow,

I'm talking a gun if that's your thing,

I'm talking javelin,

I'm talking whatever weapon comes to your brain that you want to go and blow this stuff up with.

If you want to do a stick of dynamite,

Grab a stick of dynamite and visually,

Literally chuck it at your balloon,

Your suitcase,

Or your bag full of emotional crap and blow that shit up,

Okay?

Okay,

Because once you blow it up,

You're physically transmuting that energy because we're not letting it go.

We're not saying,

Oh we're gonna let someone else deal with it.

You're handling that energy,

Which is freaking powerful,

My friend,

Okay?

So once you blow this up,

It has been transmuted.

It is not negative energy and emotions coming back down on you like confetti.

It's new,

Pure white,

Clean,

Beautiful,

High vibrational energy,

And it's something that you just created.

And now,

Because you blew it up,

It's raining down all over you while you're sitting at the office,

Refueling you,

Giving you calm,

Giving you that sense of safety,

And giving you that sense of full circle because you handled it.

You took the energy,

You took all the negative emotions,

And you transmuted it.

You turned it into something new,

And that's powerful,

And that's absolutely amazing.

So I love using this blow-up technique.

It's phenomenal.

So we're gonna just talk a couple more things about shielding your space,

Okay?

I have mentioned crystals and talismans.

Oh,

Everybody hydrate.

Make sure you're hydrating.

All right,

Here we go.

I've talked about crystals with talismans,

But another thing that's fabulous to use when you're shielding is a crystal.

Specifically,

Since empaths are so sensitive,

We want to make sure that we're using crystals that are energy blockers and energy suckers.

So they're not,

So they're either blocking the energy from us,

Or they're taking the negative energy,

And we're not taking the negative energy.

So that would be black tourmaline,

Onyx,

Obsidian,

And then I also like to use selenite.

Selenite is one of those multi-faceted,

Multi-usage crystals,

And I use it for cleansing other crystals.

I use it for cleansing space.

I use it for cleansing myself.

So I also really enjoy selenite.

So those are a couple of crystals that you can grab to kind of help you out as you navigate your energy.

And then also,

If you're not cleansing your space,

This is an amazing technique.

This is not grounding.

This is not shielding.

This is just cleansing your space,

Just as how we cleanse our auric fields with a bath,

Or we go for a walk in nature.

We do sage.

Our space around us will get clogged up with energy,

Emotions,

People,

Past thoughts,

Past vibrations,

And we want to make sure we're getting those things out.

We don't want those to hang out,

Especially when it's in our safe space.

You know,

Anything that is happening in your home,

In your office,

In your safe space,

You want to make sure that that energy is clean,

Especially being an empath.

You're feeling all of that ickiness.

So a clean space,

Physically and energetically,

Is incredibly helpful for our minds.

And how you cleanse your space,

There's lots of different ways.

I like to use either,

You know,

You burn sage or the Palo Santo,

And I also talk to my guides and ask them to help clear out any negative beings or anything that's not supposed to be there,

Anything that is not of my highest and greatest good.

And then one thing I want to make sure I mention,

It's very important that when you cleanse your space,

That you also open up a window or you open up the door when you're done,

Okay?

You don't want to cleanse the space and then not open up anything and let that energy leave.

You need that energy to go somewhere.

Mama Earth is gonna take care of it.

So if you don't open a window and you don't open a door,

You're just gonna have the energy swirling around.

It's just gonna move to another place.

So when you do cleanse your space,

Just kind of do that,

You know,

Just for a quick minute.

It's not even a long time.

Just let that sage out,

Let that Palo Santo out,

Let that energy go at the very end of you cleansing your space,

Okay?

All right,

I'm gonna finish up here.

Okay um let's see one of the very last things you can do to help you with your energy,

Simply talk to your guides.

Literally it's one of the easiest things you can do is just ask your guides,

Ask the gods,

Ask for the spiritually divine for assistance and just allow them to help you.

Be open to what they're gonna send you because as soon as you ask,

They're just waiting.

They're just hanging out.

They're literally sitting behind you going,

When when is she gonna,

When when is he gonna,

When I'm ready,

I'm ready now.

So you have at least seven spiritual guides with you at all times,

Spiritual guides,

Angels,

All of those.

You have at least seven of them with you.

So talk to them okay,

Ask them for help,

Ask them for guidance,

Shoot,

Ask them to make you laugh.

Sometimes I just ask them to make me laugh because things have gotten so heavy that I can't even get out of my own headspace.

So I'm like make me laugh,

Just help me,

Just help me,

You know,

Chill out a little bit.

They're never gonna point you in a direction that's gonna hurt you and they're always there to help you okay.

So ask your guides.

They want nothing more than to support you and to be part of your spiritual badass team,

You know what I mean?

So okay,

Let's see,
