Good morning.
It's Fiona Bennett and I'm just so happy that you have joined me this morning.
Let's take a nice slow deep breath in through your nose,
Right down to your belly and out.
Let your eyes close gently if they haven't already.
We'll take another nice deep breath and out.
Just starting to let all that oxygen circulate through all of your cells.
Start to feel awake and alive this morning.
And as you do,
Think to yourself,
I am ready to start my day.
I'm ready to make this day matter.
And decide for yourself one thing that is something meaningful to you that you can achieve today.
It doesn't have to be a big thing.
It doesn't have to be saving the world.
It's something that has real meaning for you.
When you have that idea,
Really hold the image in your mind's eye.
Imagine yourself completing this throughout your day.
Feel how wonderful it will feel.
Let yourself experience the pride you will have,
The sense of accomplishment,
The simple pleasure of doing something that matters.
And just breathe.
Think to yourself,
I commit to doing this thing for me.
Not because I have to or to impress anyone.
Not because I should do it,
But because I choose to do it.
Because I want my life to matter.
I want my day to matter.
And it is up to me to make that happen.
And when you're finished with this meditation,
Write down what you have committed.
And then I invite you to look at it later today,
Perhaps before you go to sleep tonight.
Just take a look and see.
Did you complete it?
Did you remember to start it?
Did you make that effort that was important to you?
And if you did,
How did that feel?
Simply let yourself enjoy the sense of completion.
Celebrate.
Be thankful to yourself.
Remember it's your life.
It's your life to live as you choose.
It's a life that matters and you matter.
I'll see you later.
Thank you so much for spending this time.
I love spending this time with you.
Take your time and stay in this meditation in this quiet and peaceful place.
As long as you choose.
And when you are ready to open your eyes and start your day,
Don't forget what matters to you.
Namaste.
