This guided meditation gently leads you to the truth: you are safe. Perhaps this is a message that you have needed to hear for a lifetime and it is one that every inner child longs for. Take a few moments and give yourself the gift to remember that you are able to breathe, and be at ease. You are safe.

Just take a second to get yourself comfortable.

Find a position that really works for you.

Make sure your body feels secure and supported and warm.

Let your eyes gently close.

Don't try and pretend there's no distractions.

You may still hear noises around you.

Your mind may still wander and that's okay.

You can just come back and find your breath.

Think to yourself,

I'm breathing in as you take a breath in and I am breathing out as you take a breath out.

Try not to worry about it.

Don't make it a big deal.

Just continue to bring yourself back to your breath.

Breathe in and breathe out.

This is not a time to start to be critical or negative towards yourself.

This is a time to feel at ease and expansive and supported.

So take a nice breath in now through your nose and out and think to yourself,

I am safe.

Just those three words,

I am safe.

As you continue to breathe in and out,

Breathe in and out.

Continue to think to yourself,

I am safe.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

See if you can notice your body and your mind feeling even a little bit more relaxed,

Even a little bit less anxious.

As you continue to breathe in and out and think to yourself,

I am safe.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Take a nice deep breath in and out.

Just allow yourself some more time in this beautiful relaxed and supported state.

You can stay here as long as you need to,

As long as you're safe and comfortable.

And when you're ready,

You can slowly open your eyes.

Breathe in and breathe out.
