We will explore a guided Earth Element Qigong Seated Meditation to support you on your journey towards recovering from stress,
Burnout and foster your resilience.
Begin by coming into a comfortable seated position either on the ground or on a chair or cushion.
If it feels good for you,
Let your eyes gently close and connect with your breath,
Allowing your breath to center yourself and your awareness to settle into your body.
Visualize roots extending from the soles of your feet deep into the earth below.
From underneath the rainbow arches of your feet,
These roots anchor you to the ground.
Feel them spread and reach down and firmly connect you with the earth beneath you.
As they spread,
With each inhale,
Visualize yourself drawing in nourishing energy from the earth,
Feeling it rise up through your roots,
Through your feet,
Through your legs,
All the way up through your body to your crown.
As you exhale,
Envision this energy filling and spreading to every cell and every space within your body,
Replenishing it with vitality and strength.
Each inhale,
Draw from the earth this energy that nourishes you,
Replenishes you.
And with each exhale,
Feel this energy spread and saturate your consciousness,
Releasing tension,
Stress,
Overthinking,
Worry,
And negativity.
Allow anything that doesn't serve you to be absorbed and transmuted by the earth.
With each breath in and out,
Feel your inherent capability to nurture and care for yourself unconditionally,
Just as Mother Earth cares for all of us,
All of nature and all living beings.
I will now guide you through some positive affirmations to reinforce and root in your inherent ability to nourish,
Nurture,
And care for yourself unconditionally.
For each of these affirmations,
We will repeat them three times.
As you repeat them,
Feel the affirmations resonate deeply within you,

Acknowledging her support and holding as you move through all challenging situations.
Feel that you belong,
You are supported,
Safe and held.

Receiving the support and nourishment of the Earth.
When you feel ready to conclude this practice,
Gently wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Bring your palms together,
Rubbing them against each other.
And when they feel warm enough,
Cover them over your eyes.
In the darkness of your palms,
Slowly blink your eyes,
Opening them and let your palms slide down your face,
Letting them rest on your lower belly.
Bring this feeling of groundedness and nourishment with you through the rest of your day,
Knowing that you are always held and supported by Mother Earth in your life.
