Deep Sleep Meditation Relax and drift off effortlessly.
This guided sleep meditation will help you ease into a deep and restful slumber.
Start by lying on your back with your hands resting on your thighs or at your sides.
You can shift positions whenever you need to feel more comfortable but begin by lying on your back.
Take a moment to scan your body,
Notice any areas of tension and pay attention to how your body feels.
In this session,
You'll focus on releasing tension and quieting your mind.
Once your mind is calm and peaceful,
Sleep will come naturally.
Breathe in deeply,
Drawing in relaxation and calm.
Exhale slowly,
Letting go of any tension.
You may find thoughts arising,
Memories from today,
Plans for tomorrow,
Or worries weighing on your mind.
Now is the time to let those thoughts settle.
By clearing your mind,
You'll wake up refreshed,
Ready to take on the day ahead with strength and clarity.
Take a moment to process anything that's on your mind before sleep.
Allow yourself two minutes to think,
Plan or reflect.
Once those moments pass,
Let everything go.
Right now there is nothing to do except relax and rest.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Notice how it feels in this moment.
Where do you feel the most tension?
Focus on that spot.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Release that tension with a sigh.
Now shift your attention to the parts of your body that feel the most relaxed.
Let that sense of ease expand with every breath,
Spreading further,
Deeper,
Until relaxation fills your entire body.
Let your thoughts drift as sleepiness takes over.
If you'd like,
You can focus on counting,
Letting relaxation deepen with each number.
Begin by concentrating on the number one.
And as you count from one to ten,
You'll feel yourself becoming more relaxed,
Sinking into sleep.
One.
Focusing on the number one.
Two.
Your body softens,
Growing more peaceful,
Deeper into calm.
Three.
Tension melts away.
Your body and mind are filled with ease.
Focusing only on the numbers.
Four.
Visualising the number,
Feeling the warmth of relaxation,
A pleasant heaviness spreading through your arms and legs,
Deeply at peace.
Five.
Sinking further,
Into stillness,
Allowing sleep to gently wash over you.
Six.
Deeply at rest.
Seven.
Feeling serene and calm.
Eight.
Your body heavy and warm,
Your mind quiet and free.
Nine.
Gently drifting,
Thoughts floating,
Peaceful and weightless.
Ten.
Completely relaxed,
At peace,
Ready for sleep.
Now you can count back from ten to one.
By the time you reach one,
You'll be fully relaxed.
Effortlessly drifting into deep sleep.
And when I say start,
Count slowly in your mind while I continue to guide you.
Begin now at ten.
Then move to nine.
Eight.
Eight.
And continue on your own,
Sinking further into relaxation,
Warmth surrounding you,
A deep sense of peace.
Let yourself drift.
Weightless.
At ease.
Relaxation deepening.
Softly floating into sleep.
Completely calm.
At peace with yourself.
Feeling safe,
Nurtured and restored.
Sinking deeper into rest.
Breathing slow and even.
Peaceful.
Letting sleep take over.
Drifting gently into a deep and restful sleep.
