Hi,
My name is Rashmi and we will be doing a breathing guided imagery meditation to give love to our body.
Getting into a comfortable position,
Sitting up or lying down,
Slowing down our breath,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Leaving our day behind,
At least just for this moment.
This is your sacred time.
For you,
For your body.
Placing one or both hands on our heart.
Just try to feel the beats of your heart on your palm.
It may be slow beats or fast beats.
Just gently feel the beats,
Letting them go at their own pace.
Our heart and our whole bodies unconditionally loves us and takes care of us,
No questions asked.
This meditation is our time to take care of our bodies.
Now try to imagine a color for the feeling of love.
It can be any color or have no color at all.
It can be one color or every color in the universe.
Or perhaps it's a color you've never seen before.
Now imagine your favorite scent,
Flowers,
Freshly baked bread,
Mud right after rain,
Your favorite perfume or your favorite meal or perhaps a scent of your favorite person.
Inhaling that scent now and imagining the color of love entering our nose,
Filling up our lungs,
Filling up our whole body and exhaling it back out.
Another time,
Inhaling that majestic aromatic scent,
Filling up our noses,
Entering our lungs,
Expanding our stomachs,
Spreading all throughout our body and exhaling it back out.
This time we're going to inhale that beautiful scented loving color to the top of our heads.
Imagining the top of our heads lighting up with the color of love and exuding that aromatic scent.
Inhaling now,
Lighting up with color at the top of our heads.
Now we're going to breathe in love to our foreheads.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Appreciating the beauty of life through our wonderful eyes.
Breathing in love,
Our eyes colored with love and exhale.
Thanking our noses for the gift of scent.
Breathe in love and exhale.
See that our cheeks and lips let us smile.
Breathing in love for our cheeks and lips.
Inhale and exhale.
The gift of music and communication made possible by our wonderful ears.
Breathing in love.
Our whole face is now colored and lit up with that aromatic love.
Taking a moment to feel that love for each part.
Remembering just how beautiful our faces are.
Now breathing in again that scented love,
This time to our neck.
Inhale love to our neck and exhale.
Our necks support our whole head for us,
Just how strong our necks are.
Remembering how powerful our shoulders are.
Breathing in love to our shoulders and breathe out.
Our arms that offer us so much movement.
Breathe in love and exhale.
Our hands and our fingers that lets us work,
Connect with others and teaches us about holding on and letting go.
Breathing in that beautiful scented colored love for our hands and our fingers and breathe out.
Taking a moment to breathe in that aromatic scent again,
Remembering what that smells like.
Now inhaling love to our torso and exhale.
Sometimes without realizing,
Our hips hold a lot of stress for us.
Realizing them now that we are here and we love them.
Breathe in love to our hips and breathe out.
Our legs that lets us move and grow,
Travel or stay put,
Holding our whole body on them.
Breathe in love for our legs and breathe out.
And finally our feet and toes,
Without which we cannot stand.
A beautiful part of our body that lets us walk.
Breathing in love to our feet and toes and breathe out.
Coming back to the center of our heart,
Feeling it beating through our chest.
Thanking it once again for all that it does for us.
Thank you my beautiful heart.
And thanking our bodies for being our home.
Thank you my beautiful body.
And last but not least,
Thanking yourself for being here with me today in this practice.
I invite you to repeat these loving affirmations and to say your name when I say the word myself and me.
Thank you myself.
I love you me.
Thank you myself.
I love you me.
Thank you myself.
And I love you me.
Thank you for a wonderful practice.
You are beautiful and your body is beautiful.
Namaste.
