Take a moment for a self-health check-in in mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Begin by shadowing down your eyes and placing one hand over your heart,

The other over your belly.

Allow your body to rest a bit more,

Your eyebrows unfurrowing,

Your jaw unclenching,

Your shoulders falling down and back.

Feel the way your heart beats for you in this moment.

Feel the way your breath rises for you in this moment.

Without judgment,

Notice what areas in mind,

Body,

Or spirit feel really good today.

Equally so without judgment,

Notice what areas in mind,

Body,

Or spirit feel really tense today.

Now ask yourself,

All of yourself,

What do I need today?

Maybe it's a large drink of water because you feel dehydrated.

Maybe it's a date with a friend because you notice some loneliness creeping in.

Maybe it's a long walk to get grounded and away from the hustle and bustle of technology.

There is no right answer and no wrong.

Just ask,

What do I need today?

I encourage you to adopt this as a daily practice into the beginning of your day before you're pulled into many directions and absorbing the constant needs and opinions of the rest of the world.

Over time,

You'll find that no two days are ever alike.

Your body,

Your mind,

Your spirit,

Your entire being is always talking to you,

Always asking for new things and alerting you to new needs.

You are ever evolving,

My friend.

By checking in daily,

You're committing to whole mind,

Body,

Health,

And well-being.

So maybe choose to set your alarm a few minutes early or linger a bit longer after you wake in the morning and simply place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly.

Listen,

Ask,

And then prioritize this one true need for yourself.

You deserve this daily download.
