Take a few breaths and settle into a posture that will serve you for the next few moments.
Finding yourself comfortable,
Adjusting your body as needed,
Dropping the shoulders,
Softening the face,
The jaw,
The tongue,
Allowing your body to come into rest.
Notice each breath without trying to manipulate or control or adjust.
Just notice.
And as you become aware and notice each breath,
Feel into your natural rhythm as we inhale.
Notice how the body expands and opens.
And on the exhale,
The body releases and comes back to its natural resting position.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Each breath is a gentle reminder that we have the opportunity to receive and release.
We have the opportunity to welcome in and let go.
And we practice this every moment of our lives.
I allow myself to receive.
I allow myself to release.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
I welcome in the new.
I let go of what no longer serves.
Take these next few breaths at your natural pacing,
Your natural rhythm of receiving and releasing.
Receiving.
Releasing.
Receiving.
Releasing.
Taking a moment to check in with your body.
Softening the eyes.
Relaxing the belly.
Being breathed.
And as you continue throughout your day,
May you remember that each breath is a gift.
Each breath is an opportunity.
Each breath is guidance and wisdom.
The allowing and remembering and accepting of what we allow and welcome into our lives.
And also what we release,
Surrender and let go of.
May you receive this gift.
