Hello everyone.
Greetings for this day.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
Settle into your body,
Make any adjustments,
And see if you can soften and relax,
Shifting and nesting for a few moments.
If it feels comfortable,
Go ahead and close your eyes and take a deep breath and just let it release like a big sigh.
Begin to feel into your body,
Connected to whatever it is that is supporting you in this moment.
Begin to follow the breath,
Not making any major changes,
Just observing.
If you'd like to take a slightly deeper inhale and begin to slowly extend the exhale.
Continue to soften the body,
Relax the jaw,
Let the shoulders drop.
Open your eyes.
Today is a day when we remember life is uncertain and that's okay.
We remember that we can always pause just like we are now.
Feeling our connection to the earth,
The chair,
The bed,
The floor,
Whatever surface that is supporting us is still held by this great earth.
And we give thanks.
We feel into our breath that is always with us,
Always waiting to serve us.
We forget sometimes and we find ourselves breathing more shallow.
And so this is an invitation to remember your breath,
Nice deep inhale and release.
We are supported and we connect to life through our breath.
These two things can be our lifeline.
I am breathing in,
I am breathing out.
I am supported.
I am supported.
And I am connected to life one breath at a time.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
And as we close this gentle practice,
May you remember that you are indeed always supported and you are always connected to life.
May you pause and remember.
