Lowering The Intensity
by Erin Nelson
Your nervous system is maxed out. You've been absorbing everyone else's energy, the noise of the world, the demands that never stop. The intensity has nowhere to go, so it stays in your body, buzzing and tight. This meditation teaches you to give it back. Not by numbing yourself or pushing through. By using the earth as your ally. You'll learn a specific breath pattern that gathers the charge in your heart and sends it down through the root of your spine, offering it directly to the earth beneath you. The earth doesn't just receive your intensity. It transforms it. Your struggle becomes fuel for growth. Your static becomes steady roots. This isn't about calming down or relaxing. It's about remembering you have a partner in this and you are not alone. The earth can metabolize what feels too big for you to hold. With each breath, the noise thins. The center of you grows still. Use this when you're overwhelmed, overstimulated or carrying more than one body was meant to hold.
