It's a very nice short meditation to feel rooted and strong.
Start in a seated position or you can be standing for this short meditation.
Make sure you're comfortable.
And then find a point across the room where your eyes rest naturally.
Focus on this point with a relaxed and present gaze.
Take a deep breath and be very present behind your eyes.
And on your next exhale gently close your eyes.
Maintaining the same strong presence behind your eyes.
Smile and feel the energy in your body.
And draw back your attention from other times,
Places,
People and events.
As you inhale draw the energy into your lungs.
Exhaling feel your energy filling your entire body.
Now bring your awareness to your root chakra at the base of your spine.
And feel your energy pulsing there.
Now taking your energy from here like a tree,
Trunk,
Deep roots,
Down into the earth.
See how it's going down,
Down,
Down all the way to the center of the earth.
Breathe.
And let your grounding expand til it's as wide as your body.
See rooting your down into the earth.
Feeling your presence getting stronger into your body.
Feel your energy pulsing in your heart,
In your hands and your feet.
Feel the awareness right behind your eyes.
Noticing any pain or tension in your body.
Let it release now down into your grounding,
Away from your body and into the earth.
Breathe.
Give yourself permission to maintain the strong presence in your body.
Smile and be grateful you have this body.
Say to yourself I love planet earth.
I love being in my body.
And with your eyes closed remember to point across the room.
And on your next inhale gently open your eyes.
