Are you ready to spend some time in the forest with me today?

To immerse yourself in nature mindfully,

Using all your senses to derive a multitude of benefits for your physical,

Mental,

Emotional and social health.

Take this time during our journey together to destress your mind,

Revitalise your body and rediscover your true self.

Before we begin,

Be still in your space,

Establish yourself fully,

Find comfort in your surroundings,

Then focus on your breath.

Let the natural flow of your breath be your only thought,

Only observation and only feeling.

As we start our forest meditation,

Remind yourself that the breath will guide you and anchor you.

Now,

Let's begin by visualising a beautiful forest entrance,

Welcoming you through archways of trees.

Threading carefully,

You enter the forest and walk across the sponge texture of fallen leaves and moss.

Allow yourself to wander freely in every direction,

To slowly explore all that is there.

As you place one foot in front of the other,

Listen carefully to the cracking and splitting of dried twigs and sticks underneath your feet,

Each one releasing their own destiny through connection with the forest floor.

Look up to the trees and notice they are gently whispering their secrets through breezes of fresh wind and earthing their presence all around yours.

Feel the energy of the trees reveal as you cross over their heritage and years in the forest.

Inhale the depth of their scent as each trunk spills out its individual aroma,

Allowing you to soak up the richness of the pine neighbours,

The strength and stability of the oak,

Both working alongside each other united as one.

Notice the flickering leaves from the oak cascading calmly down from the heights beyond your reach.

As they enter your energy field,

What messages do they bring from above?

Pause for this moment.

Take a deep breath and fully engage with the freshness of the pine needles scattered all around.

Divorged your senses into wondering memories enveloped in this scent that now awakens your soul.

You're slowly feeling the transition from the synthetic world into the natural domain.

And as time passes by,

You're becoming closer and closer to the Earth's offerings and principles as you continue through the forest.

The urge to rest and find stillness in your body binding you fully to the forest becomes very desirable.

You cast your eyes with intention to find a place that will preserve your state of mind,

Enabling guidance through your surroundings to heal you on any level that has allowed recent eruptions.

When you find your space,

Take comfort,

Either lying or sitting on the forest floor.

Give yourself full permission to submerge fully into the forest's energy,

Losing yourself to the chorus of the birds,

Each one with their melodic songs,

Recalibrating your ability to hear past any noise inside your mind.

Transport your vision up above you towards the sky,

Passing through the high rise branches that are dwelling places for so many,

Yet seldom noticed.

Feel the rhythm of oscillating trunks creating a soothing flow of peaceful vibrations,

Reassuring each and every inhabitant that safety surrounds them and you.

Immerse yourself fully as you drift into an entwined connection with all the offerings from the forest today.

Accept each gift that provokes a reaction in you,

That rouses one of your senses and that encourages you to be fully present.

Remember as you absorb all the energies of the forest,

To leave a gift.

Just think about that for a moment,

What you can leave the forest in return.

Maybe a song,

Maybe a poem.

When you have left your gift,

Slowly rise from your space.

Thank the forest for all the offerings you've accepted,

You've enjoyed and you've connected with today.

And when you're ready,

Take some long slow deep breaths,

Inhaling those last moments of our forest walk together.

As you make your way back along the forest floor,

Returning to the archways of trees and the beginning of our forest journey.
