Welcome to this meditation in which we will focus on your heart center.
This is the center of love,
The seat of the soul.
Tapping into your heart will open you up to love and connection with others and yourself.
Connecting to your heart also allows for more clarity on your soul's wishes,
Directing you towards the things that fully align with who you really are.
My name is Fanny Hakstegen and I'll be guiding you through this practice.
Make sure to turn off notifications on your phone and remove any other possible distractions.
You can pause this audio now to get ready.
Get into a comfortable seat where you're still able to sit upright and close down your eyes.
Notice the places of your body that are connecting to the surface beneath you.
Feel that support.
Start breathing deeply into your belly.
Now let your focus travel towards the center of your heart area.
Just rest your attention there and observe what there is to notice.
Does this place feel soft and open?
Maybe there's tightness or constriction,
Pain or blockage.
Whatever it is that you notice,
Know that there's no right or wrong,
So no need to judge.
Stay with these sensations a little longer,
As if you're sitting next to the feeling without having to change anything about it.
If you notice that you're getting distracted,
You gently observe it.
You bring your attention back to the sensations in your heart area.
If there's anything that feels uncomfortable,
Stay with that discomfort.
Just breathe.
Now we will start to nourish our heart center.
Keep your attention focused on your heart.
With every inhalation,
Visualize a stream of love entering your heart space and completely filling it.
With every exhale,
Visualize this love spreading out into every cell of your body.
Inhale that love,
Fill up your heart.
Exhale,
Spread.
Inhale,
Love.
Exhale,
Spread.
Continue doing this some more cycles.
As we have filled up the heart with love,
It is now time to continue taking in more,
But also give back to the world what we receive,
Fostering the natural cycle of giving and receiving.
So keeping your focus on the heart center,
You visualize that you're breathing in love with every inhalation and breathing out love with every exhalation.
Inhale,
I'm breathing in love.
Exhale,
I'm breathing out love.
Inhale,
I receive love.
Exhale,
I give love.
Continue doing this following the rhythm of your own breathing.
You may now let go of the affirmations.
Place both hands on top of each other on your heart space and ask your heart what you can do to make up space for more love in your life.
Wait for the whispering answer.
You may now thank your heart for its wisdom,
Knowing that it's always there for you whenever you're unsure about what it is you're asking for.
It's always there for you whenever you're unsure about what it is that you truly want.
Release your hands back into your lap,
And when you're ready,
Open up your eyes again.
