Welcome to this meditation about rising above your thoughts and feelings.
Often we can get very caught up in our heads,
Caught up in our minds,
Trying to figure out,
Trying to get to the truth.
And sometimes we might get very stuck in our ego,
Stuck in our old way of being in the world.
So this meditation is a very quick and effective way that helps you come back to the truth.
So I want you to close your eyes,
As you're closing your eyes and comfortable wherever you are.
Just taking in a deep breath in through the nose.
And exhaling out through the mouth.
And a deep breath in.
Exhale out.
And one last deep breath in.
And let go.
And that's space now,
Just noticing your thoughts and feelings.
And let's use this to look at a current situation you're in,
Just noticing your starting point.
How do you feel about this thing?
What are you thinking about it?
What are you believing about it?
And as you notice these thoughts and feelings,
I want you to just acknowledge them as that.
They're just your thoughts and feelings.
It's not who you are.
It's not what's going to happen.
It's just where you are right now.
I want you to imagine yourselves,
All lifting yourself from these thoughts and feelings,
Imagining you're rising above them.
And as you rise above them,
Imagining almost you're looking at it from a bird's eye view.
Looking at it from this higher perspective.
You're not in it,
You're outside of it,
Above it.
As you're looking at it from this bird's eye view,
I want you to also imagine a golden ball of light above your head.
It's beautiful and it's shining bright.
And this golden ball of light is your true self.
It's your greatness.
It's your truth.
It's your higher self.
And I want you to imagine this golden ball of light descending onto your body,
Touching your head.
As soon as it does that,
Your whole body lights up.
Your whole body becomes this beautiful golden beam of light now.
And you're connected to your greatness,
Your truth,
Your higher self,
Your true self.
And you're free of everything.
Free of the past and the future.
You're just here and now in this moment.
And you let go of the need to know.
As you're in this space now,
I want you to look at the situation from this point of view.
And ask yourself,
What would I love?
What's in my highest?
What's my truth?
Just listen.
And whatever you get,
You can also ask,
What's the true action that comes from this place?
And follow through on that.
Act on that.
