Hi,
Welcome to this Innocence Meditation.
Innocence is a state of awe and wonder that is outside of your thoughts and feelings.
It's a place where you get to get out of what you know,
Get out of your beliefs,
Get out of what you think is happening and really connect to the magic of life.
This meditation is great to do in nature,
To be somewhere that you can be connected to nature or it can be in your garden or just in a place where making sure that you won't be disturbed.
Make sure you're sitting comfortably in a place where you're sitting upright.
I want you to just close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.
Let go.
Another deep breath in,
Exhale and one last deep breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Just breathing normally in and out through the nose and as you're breathing,
Just noticing where you're at right now.
Noticing any thoughts that might be there,
How you're feeling in this moment.
Just acknowledging,
Just acknowledging where you are in your starting point.
It doesn't mean anything,
It's just where you are right now.
And choosing to receive the benefit of this meditation,
The benefit of being an innocence.
I want you to now imagine yourself walking in a forest.
You're in a big beautiful forest.
Really imagine what it's like to be in this forest.
Imagine this full sensory experience of it.
What you're seeing around you,
Trees,
There might be some plants,
Some animals maybe.
Taking in everything that you see all around you.
Noticing what you're hearing as well.
Maybe some birds are singing,
Maybe you can hear the wind blowing the leaves away.
What does it smell like even?
Maybe a fresh smell,
Soiled earth,
Maybe some flowers.
Also feeling the sun on your face,
On your body.
As you're walking,
Feeling some leaves,
Branches brushing up against your legs and arms.
You might even have that taste in your mouth.
As you walk through this beautiful forest.
As you're walking now,
Imagine you come across a path in this forest.
It's a beautiful pathway.
You start to follow this path.
You walk happily,
Peacefully,
With ease along this path.
Noticing the forest around you,
Taking in all you see,
Hear,
Feel,
Taste,
Smell,
All of that.
Really imagining your journey in detail.
Until you come to a fork in this path,
This path splits into two.
You feel drawn to take the one on the left.
You take the path on the left.
You notice now what it's like to be walking deeper and deeper into this forest following this path.
As you're walking along this pathway,
You notice that there are less and less trees.
And you notice these clearing start to appear in this forest.
And in these clearings,
You see violet flowers growing.
So you see less and less trees and more and more of these beautiful violet flowers in these clearings.
As you see more and more of these clearings,
These violet flowers,
Naturally,
Eventually,
You walk into a field of violet flowers.
And as you walk out,
You notice now they're all around you.
In front of you,
On your right,
On the left.
And when you look back behind you,
You can even notice the forest you walked out from disappeared.
Now you're all around,
Just surrounded by these beautiful violet flowers.
It's like a sea,
Sea of violet flowers all around you.
And you just keep walking,
Noticing the flowers around you.
Even noticing the wind making these waves on the violet flowers as it comes and goes.
Until on the horizon,
You notice there's a building.
As you see this building,
You sense that this is a sacred place.
A church,
A building,
Some sort of a sacred space.
You feel drawn towards this building and you start to head in that direction.
You start to walk towards it.
Until you come closer and closer to it as it gets bigger and bigger.
Until you stand right in front of it.
You see the set of stairs in front of you.
You start to climb them one by one.
You see this huge door in front of you with a handle.
So you push the door in and you enter into the building through an archway.
An archway that leads you into the building.
And you arrive at the center of it,
Courtyard or center of this building.
And you just take in the energy of this place.
Feel the energy of this place.
A sense of awe overcomes you.
And you notice now somewhere in the room there's a crypt.
You walk up to it,
You look down and lying in this crypt is a baby.
A symbol of pure innocence.
This pure innocent baby.
Even looking at this baby you can already get a sense,
You can already feel what that's like,
What innocence is like.
That sense of wonder,
Awe that comes by not being affected by any experience,
Just purity.
Not being touched by beliefs,
Concepts,
Thoughts,
Feelings,
Meanings,
Anything.
Just a direct experience,
A direct contact with the source.
Seeing everything for the first time.
And just looking at this baby in wonder,
In awe,
You're already an innocence.
You already can feel what that's like.
Then you realize you can actually step into this energy of this baby,
Can become the baby.
And just by imagining that,
Imagine you step into this cot,
Into this crypt,
You become absorbed by the energy of this baby.
Imagine now that's you lying there as a baby in innocence.
Witnessing everything as if it's the first time you're experiencing for yourself with awe and wonder.
Outside of thoughts and feelings.
Uninfluenced by any experience.
Untainted by anything.
Free of theories,
Concepts,
Everything.
Just there witnessing,
Taking in everything with fresh eyes and ears.
The direct pure experience of life and world.
Imagine now,
Gently and slowly,
The earth underneath you begins to open up.
You start to fall into a purple void,
Drifting through this purple void,
Easily,
Freely and safely,
Happily.
Falling away from everything you knew.
Falling away from everything about the past.
And as you fall through this purple void,
Imagine looking upwards now,
That above you,
You see stars as all your old thoughts and feelings,
Your old beliefs,
Your old assumptions,
Ideas about anything,
Worries,
Doubts.
Like stars in the sky falling away from them.
And as you fall away,
They become smaller and smaller.
And they fade away until they're very faint.
Until they disappear altogether.
It's just you here now,
The baby in the sense,
Empty,
Drifting through a purple void.
Free of everything,
Connected to everything,
For all time and space.
Now feel yourself slowing down,
Slowing down as if a parachute has opened up.
It feels like you're coming down to earth.
As you slowly come down,
You're drifting back into your body,
While holding this sense of innocence.
Then account for three to one.
And when I say one,
You can open up your eyes and take in everything that's around you in this space.
Three,
Slowly coming down,
Coming back into yourself.
Two,
Deep breath in,
Being in that sense of awe and wonder,
In that pure innocence,
Back in your body but now at this time,
Holding that innocence in place.
And one.
Opening your eyes when you're ready.
For the next few minutes,
Just take in everything around you.
If you're in nature,
Allow yourself to be in innocence and observe what that's like.
Walk around in that awe and wonder.
Not checking your phone or having distractions.
It's being.
Notice what it's like to be in the world,
In innocence,
In joy.
