Life contains limitless possibilities. To expand the ideas of what is possible, we must get present in the body, become comfortable with uncertainty, and use that uncertainty as fuel for creativity. When we embody limitlessness, our greatest creations can come alive. Lindsey guides us through a body scan and visualization of an expansive and open sky, representing the infinite possibilities in life.

Hello and welcome.

I'm Lindsay Aikie,

Your meditation guide for this moment and I'm glad you're here.

Today we're going to focus our practice on touching in to the present moment and letting it expand our ideas of what's possible.

Often our thinking minds tell us these stories of how the things we most desire aren't possible,

That they aren't for us.

We might see other people doing amazing things and think that's great for them but for me it's just not gonna work.

This part of the mind is actually just trying to keep us safe.

It's not bad,

It's not meant to be shoved down or pushed away.

Opening into oneness means that all of you gets to belong here.

When we learn how to expand into discomfort and uncertainty,

When we welcome it,

The possibilities open up and become endless.

So here we'll invite our bodies into a state of safety and openness and receptivity to expand into what is possible.

So find a comfortable position for your body,

Sitting,

Standing or lying down.

Just anywhere where your head and neck can be in a straight line and then let's take three deep breaths in and out together,

Letting the belly and the chest fill with the inhale and letting it all out.

And then we do that again with a deep inhale into the belly,

Letting it all go and one more time.

And now if it feels good to you,

You can let your eyes gently close if they're not already as you bring awareness to your eyes.

Let them soften any tightness around the corners of the eyes or the eyebrows,

Just like you're using a paintbrush of relaxation,

Spreading softness across the brow and then release the forehead,

Perhaps bringing a slight curve of a smile to the corners of the lips and then let that feeling of a smile just wash over your entire face as if you are smiling from within.

Let your ears drop down a centimeter and then drop the shoulders,

Let the neck loosen and allow your arms to melt down by your sides or into your lap.

Soften and open your hands,

Open the chest just a bit,

Let this refreshing release spread over across and then let your belly be soft and undefended,

Like the belly of a sweet baby.

Your hips can open a bit,

Let a wave of softness roll down your legs all the way to your feet and your toes and then follow your breath and let each breath open your body a little more and a little more,

Relaxing and opening each and every cell,

Coming in to the fullness of this moment with a sense of support,

Your body fully supported and open right here,

Following that natural breath into the corners of your body and then envisioning in your mind's eye this expansive pink and blue sky.

Maybe it's sunset,

Maybe it's sunrise,

The colors are swirling,

Maybe there's clouds.

Really see and sense this vast open sky within your mind as if it's sitting right between your eyes and yet it's also spreading out beyond,

Open,

Vast,

Infinite.

This sky is the unlimited possibility that always exists.

Breathe into it and let the color,

The shape,

The sound,

Or the feeling transform.

Let it expand beyond your mind.

Let it expand beyond your mind and drop down into your body,

Feeling the sense of infinite possibility with each and every breath in and out,

Letting these colors,

These swirling colors,

Fill your entire body.

The magnificent pinks,

The blues,

The wisp of clouds,

And then this possibility begins to expand out of your body and into the space around you,

Rolling out like a fog across a meadow.

Every breath in and out,

It expands a little further and you are floating in it here.

And in this limitless space of possibility,

I invite you to explore,

Remembering that you are safe and supported and that possibility wants to help you and guide you.

Breathe into the expansion that anything is possible.

Breathing in,

All things are possible,

And breathing out,

All things are possible.

Sink into this idea.

Let it open you a little more,

Anchored here in this body and yet expanding out.

You are safe,

Receptive,

Available,

Right here.

And then as far as we've let these swirling colors expand out,

We will slowly start calling them back to the far reaches.

And now let these swirling sky colors begin to slowly come back,

Calling them back from the far reaches of space,

Calling them back into your body,

Filling your body back up with the pinks,

The blues,

The hues of this sky.

And just as we called it back into the body,

With the breath we will gently bring this sky back into the mind's eye,

Between the brows,

That open sky,

This smiling sky,

Living right here within,

The part of you that sees the possibility in everything.

Breathing into the space between your brows with a softness,

A gentleness,

And then allowing this vision to fade.

Yet maybe the sensation stays the same,

That there is an openness here,

That there is possibility within.

Eckhart Tolle says,

When you become comfortable with uncertainty,

Infinite possibilities open up in your life.

So in this space and supported body,

Know that you can hold uncertainty,

And that that is actually fuel for your greatest creations.

Breathe into the space between the brows again,

And then bring your attention back to the space around your body,

Opening your senses back up,

Let your ears open,

Notice what you hear,

Maybe bring some teeny tiny microscopic movements into your body,

And notice what you feel,

And then slowly and gently allow your eyelids to open,

Taking in the light,

Notice what you see.

Breathe into now,

You are right here in the field of infinite possibilities.

Now take this possibility into your day or your evening.

I'm Lindsay Aikie,

Thank you for sitting with me,

Thank you for committing to this moment,

And may each and every one of us be free.
