Welcome to my guided meditation to help calm your mind and soothe your body.
Now close your eyes sitting tall and take three big inhales and exhales and just releasing and letting go on those exhales.
And when you feel ready,
Returning back to your natural breath and just feel yourself breathe.
Just connecting to the soothing energy of your natural breath as it rises and falls.
Your natural breath.
And as you continue to notice the details of your breath,
The feeling,
The sensations and the effortless flow of your natural breath.
And just allow yourself to settle back into a calm,
Focused state and enjoy this meditation.
Maybe looking at this meditation is like a nice little vacation in your day,
A vacation for your mind and your body.
Allowing in the stillness,
The peace and tranquility.
Then you may notice thoughts coming in and trying to grab you and just let the thoughts float by,
Returning your awareness to your breath,
The consistency,
The stability and the balance of your beautiful breath.
And as you continue that awareness of your breathing,
Just allowing any thoughts to pass by.
I'd like you to bring your awareness to the bottom of your feet.
You can feel this wonderful,
Soothing,
Healing energy rising up through the bottom of your feet and all the way up into your legs,
This wonderful grounding,
Healing energy from Mother Earth permeating every muscle,
Every tendon,
Soaking deep into your bones.
Breathing and calming everything it touches,
Softening the muscles and the tendons as this wonderful healing energy passes through.
And this wonderful calming,
Healing energy continues to move up your body,
Filling your torso,
Permeating deeply into your muscles and your bones and your internal organs,
Calming and soothing and softening everything it touches.
Now this wonderful healing energy is moving up into your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Through your wrists,
Into your hands,
All the way to the tips of your fingers,
Permeating deeply into the very core of you,
Creating a wonderful sense of calm and peace.
Now this wonderful healing energy continues to move up your neck,
Filling your head,
Releasing any tension,
Creating a spaciousness,
A stillness deep inside as it permeates every muscle,
Every tendon,
Every organ deep into the marrow of your bones,
Softening and expanding.
Soothing and peaceful.
Now just bring awareness to your whole body,
The energy of your whole body.
Feeling this ease as your body is relaxed and notice how your thoughts have calmed.
You're receiving this beautiful moment in your day of a calm,
Grounded connection to yourself.
Feeling this peace and openness.
And now reconnect with the sensations of your body.
Your breath.
Your natural breath.
And now once again,
Take three big inhales and exhales.
Good,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Realizing if you feel different and then whenever you feel ready,
You can open your eyes,
Taking your time and just notice with your eyes open,
Can you still maintain that beautiful deep connection with your body?
Can you still create some space and stillness in your mind,
Even with your eyes open,
Seeing all the stimulation of the outside world?
Now being able to move about the rest of your day or your evening with a clarity,
With balance,
