Hello and welcome to the grounding meditation.
My name is Yelena Fu.
This meditation can be really helpful during the times of emotional turmoil,
Anxiety,
Panic,
Attacks,
Worry,
Even when we feel some physical discomfort.
Usually during any time we feel that the ground is shaky below us,
This meditation can bring us the sense of stability,
Strength,
Calmness and centeredness.
I suggest doing this meditation by sitting in the chair with your feet on the ground.
So make yourself comfortable,
Straighten your back and relax your shoulders,
Rest hands in your lap,
Relax your face and jaw and close your eyes.
Paying attention to your breath.
No judgement,
No labeling,
Just feel yourself breathing.
Bring now breath to the soles of your feet.
As if your feet are breathing in and out together with your lungs.
Feel your feet touching the ground.
Notice that sense of touch.
Feel the firm surface beneath your feet.
Imagine now feet growing roots into the earth.
Feel those roots connect to the earth energy of stability and strength.
As the roots grow deeper and stronger,
Notice the calm coming over your whole body.
Allow the gravitation to support you.
You don't have to put any effort and your body can completely relax.
You are being held by the earth.
Your roots are nourishing you,
Holding you firmly on the surface.
Feel the stability,
Strength and calmness in your legs,
Hips,
Torso,
Arms,
Shoulders,
Head,
Hands,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Head.
The ground is supporting each part of you.
Allow this amazing earth energy and nourishment to flow through your system.
With an inhale,
Pull this energy in from the ground.
And with every exhale release back into the ground all the tension,
Stress,
Worry,
Frustration,
Everything that doesn't serve you.
Feel the healing vibrations in every cell of your body.
Imagine now your upper body as a tree top.
Imagine all the branches,
Leaves,
Flowers.
Experienced by the ground energy,
The tree top is supported to grow and to expand.
Open up towards the sky,
Sun,
Rain,
Wind,
Knowing that you are always supported by the earth.
Allow those branches and leaves to grow and expand and take space.
Feel them absorb the energy from all around,
From the nature,
From universe.
Feel how your chest opens up and shoulders relax,
Your face softens and the breath is deep and easy,
Nourishing.
Breathe in this amazing energy of nature,
Sun,
Clouds and wind.
And bring that energy into your heart.
Feel the peace and calmness and love.
And take that energy even further down below your belly button and connect to the energy of earth.
Feel even deeper peace.
Breathe into that spot below your belly button.
And notice now the sensations in your body.
Stay for another minute in this wonderful,
Nourishing,
Grounding energy and feel it throughout your body.
And your gratitude now to the world around you,
To the ground,
Sun and sky,
Air you breathe,
Water,
Trees,
Animals,
To everything that supports your existence.
And send gratitude to this body you have that also supports your existence,
Your self-discovery that allows you to see and smell and touch and walk and hug and kiss and love.
Bring your attention now to the space where you're at.
This is what is around you,
Where you're sitting.
You wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Stretch a little bit gently.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
