This is a 13 minute meditation to help you become more familiar with your energy, and the energetic layer of your body. You will be guided through a scan to notice your energetic field, it's qualities, and how it shifts and changes according to your state.

Transcript

Hello and welcome.

Before we begin,

Take a moment to get yourself comfortable.

Now begin to bring your attention to your body.

Start to scan your body.

Move from the base of your head,

Your brainstem,

Down your neck until you bring your awareness down to your shoulders,

And then to the front of your chest,

The back of your heart,

And around your ribcage.

Soften your belly until you bring your awareness to land on the space in between your belly button and your pelvis.

Pause there for a moment.

Bring your attention to the space that exists there,

Just kind of tuning in to that place.

And start to notice the life force that moves through you as you breathe.

Notice if you can sense the blood that moves through your veins and the bones that maintain the shape of your body,

Its structure.

Just notice how all the different parts of your body function to be a container for you,

For your soul to be here,

And that within and around this container are energetic frequencies like rivers of energy running through and around you.

As you settle your awareness on these pathways of energy that move through and around you,

Notice the quality or the texture of this energy.

Notice if you change or shift the quality or the texture as you bring your awareness to it,

As you bring your attention more inward.

What happens?

What's different?

And what happens if you bring your awareness to the base of your body,

Down at the bottom of your pelvis,

The base of your spine,

The place where the bottom of your body meets the earth under you?

Notice what happens,

If anything,

To this flow of energy when you draw your awareness to that area.

Notice if anything shifts or changes if you slow down your breath.

Just noticing,

Being curious about the movement and the rhythm of your energetic body.

Notice if it's malleable or plastic or adjustable,

If it fluctuates or changes in accordance with the thoughts or sensations in your body or any emotions that arise or that are present here right now.

Just noticing,

Watching,

Becoming curious about how the different parts of you interrelate with this energetic field,

This energetic layer of your being.

The tone,

The rhythm,

The texture,

The color,

Knowing that whatever you find or discover or experience in this moment today can,

May,

And likely will change at another moment.

Just noticing its ability to respond to what is alive and present for you right now.

Continue to simply bring awareness,

Awe,

And curiosity,

Getting to know this energetic part of your body.

And you can stay here observing for as long as you feel you'd like to.

And when you feel ready,

Open your eyes,

Feel your feet on the ground,

Your weight on the earth,

Contour of your physical body,

And gently bring yourself back into this space.
