Hey there,

And welcome to this Focus Breathwork session.

My name is Spencer Jones,

The Prince of Positivity,

And I'm really excited to have you here joining me in this session.

This session is perfect if your mind is racing and you're struggling to just calm down,

Or if you would just like some centering moments to feel calmer and more focused.

So let's dive into this breathwork session.

First of all,

Just find a comfortable position,

Either laying down or seated preferred.

You could stand,

But I prefer seated or laying down.

Let your hands and arms rest wherever they are comfortable,

And start to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose.

If you can't breathe in and out through your nose,

That is okay,

But try to breathe in as much as possible,

Because breathing in and out through your nose has some incredible benefits which I talk about in our course in Breathwork 101.

But for right now,

Let's just find that comfortable position,

And breathe in through our nose and out through our nose.

And now as you are breathing in,

Try to breathe in that air deep into your lungs,

Filling your lungs fully with air,

Allowing them to expand gently,

And as you exhale,

They can collapse gently.

Nothing's forced,

Nothing's being pushed open or anything like that.

Just breathing,

But breathing deep.

And as you are breathing deeply,

Try also to breathe calmly and softly,

So nothing's forced.

As a matter of fact,

This breath is calming your body and calming your mind.

So easy to let our mind race,

Especially when we try to slow down like this.

That's one reason why I love breathwork and why I start almost all my meditations with breathwork,

Is because it gives us something to focus on.

So if your mind is racing,

Heck,

Even if it's not,

Bring its focus to your breath,

To your inhale,

To the exhale.

Be aware of any sensations you feel as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

Maybe the air has a specific scent,

Humidity or temperature that you notice.

As memories or thoughts or ideas pop into your mind,

Acknowledge that they're there,

But then just return your focus to your breath,

Just like as if you're in a meditation.

Bring that focus to your breath,

In and out.

Now I encourage you to put a finger on your belly button.

Imagine breathing that air in through your nose all the way to your belly button.

Focus that breath.

So the first part of you that that breath hits is your belly button.

Then it fills up the rest of your lungs.

Obviously that's not the case.

It is touching all of your lungs,

But focus it there and see if you can really pinpoint where that breath energy is going.

Excellent.

Now release the touching of your belly button and instead touch yourself on your upper sternum.

Breathe to that spot.

Focus your energy there and notice if you have a different energy or you notice any changes in your breathing or mental state.

And then pick one of your sides,

Your left side or your right side and touch a spot there.

Breathe to where you are touching.

Let that spot now be the focus of your breath energy.

The first spot where the breath hits your body and then it fills up the rest of your lungs.

Excellent.

Keep going.

Keep breathing gently,

Deeply,

Allowing your mind to focus on where your breath is and letting your mind and body just relax.

And now focus on your back.

Find a specific point to focus on.

You can touch it with your hand if you like or just imagine it.

Breathe to that specific spot.

Notice that energy there.

Wonderful.

Now breathe into your left lung.

Obviously you're still filling both lungs with air but just focus on that left.

Imagine filling only that left lung with oxygen.

Now the right lung.

Focus your energy there.

Then finally return to just focusing on breathing deeply,

Softly and gently,

Filling your entire lungs with life-giving oxygen.

Know that you are amazing.

That you are enough just the way you are.

I hope that you enjoyed this focus breathwork session and you can come back to this anytime.

Whether you come back to this or not,

I encourage you to practice breathwork in any of its exercises or strategies anytime throughout the day.

There are so many benefits to it.

You're welcome to check out some of my other breathwork sessions and courses if you like.

I'm here for you.

Reach out anytime.

So keep being you.

Keep shining your light.

Keep breathing.

So until next time,

I'll catch you later.
