If you feel that you would like to cultivate a more intimate bond of love and affection with the baby during the prenatal stage,
Feel free to try this meditation as it will help you to relax deeply,
Tune into your body,
And connect with the baby internally.
Please sit in a comfortable position and let your body feel relaxed.
Whenever you are ready,
Feel free to close your eyes.
Now take a moment and connect with your breath.
Inhale deeply as you feel your chest is rising.
And then exhale slowly as you feel that your chest is falling.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly,
Inhale deeply again.
And if you feel that there is any tension in your body,
Gently guide your breath and the tension there to release the tension in that area.
Now allow your breathing to return to normal as you observe the natural inflow and outflow of the breath.
When you feel deeply relaxed,
Everything is flowing more easily into your body,
Such as blood circulation and absorption of nutrients and oxygen that will nourish you and your baby.
Your mind is becoming more peaceful so that you will be able to focus more on your baby.
On an emotional level,
You will feel that you are ready to tune in into your baby's presence and energy.
Please gently put your hands on your belly.
Continue to breathe naturally as you feel the baby inside of you right now.
During this pregnancy period,
You and your baby have been physically connected for a long time.
You are not alone in this world and this baby is here to accompany you as part of your life's journey as a dear family member.
Experience a sense of being connected to your baby,
Inviting love and care for your baby.
As best as you could,
Please lay your mind rest in the following phrases.
Really try to feel the meaning of what you are saying,
But do not try to force anything if it does not feel authentic to you.
Feel free to modify the phrases as you see fit.
May my baby be happy and healthy.
May my baby feel nurtured and loved in this life.
May I have the wisdom to take care of my baby.
And may my baby trust me fully.
May my presence bring a sense of safety and security to my baby.
May my loving and affectionate bond with my baby continue throughout this lifetime.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Let the sincere prayers and blessings sink deeply into your heart.
Let the breath resume its natural rhythm.
It does not matter where your mind has gone.
It does not matter at all.
Please don't judge yourself and gently bring yourself back to this guided meditation exercise.
Now imagine how joyous it would be to hold your baby close to you after birth.
And how you are able to see the baby's beautiful face along with other family members and friends around you.
Gently put down your hands from your belly.
And relax your hands on the side.
This is how life looks like through the baby's perspective.
Look around and see everything around you.
Take in all the details.
Everything looks so fresh and new for the first time.
Next,
Imagine that you are seeing yourself and your partner.
Through the baby's eyes.
The baby feels more connected to you both more than anything in this world.
You guard the baby's shelter of love and affection.
Take a deep breath.
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Let your body relax and really feel the gratitude and love this meditation has brought you.
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Whenever you are ready,
Please gently open your eyes and move around a little to feel more grounded if needed.
Congratulations you finished this meditation.
Hope that this exercise brought you a fresh perspective on your baby and deepened the bond you have with your baby.
