This progressive relaxation technique is focused on alternate nostril breathing.

Please be seated in a cross-leg position or be seated on a chair with your feet touching the ground.
Make sure you feel comfortable in your position and remember to keep your spine straight.
Whenever you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Let's take a deep breath together.
Inhale deeply.
Then exhale slowly.
During this exercise,
You'll be using your index finger and your thumb alternatively.
Please use your index finger to close off your left nostril completely and inhale deeply through your right nostril.
Now,
Please use your thumb to close your right nostril completely and exhale through your left nostril.
Next,
Please inhale through your left nostril fully.
Now,
Close your left nostril completely and exhale through your right nostril.
That was one complete cycle and we'll repeat this alternate nostril breathing again.
Use your index finger to close off your left nostril and inhale deeply through your right nostril.

Please use your thumb to close your right nostril completely and exhale through your left nostril.

Please inhale through your left nostril fully.
