Some mornings begin with a stream of thoughts before the day has even started. This practice invites you to observe the activity of the mind with curiosity, noticing the qualities and energy of your thoughts before gently returning to the breath and the physical sensations of the body. As awareness settles, you are guided to soften areas of tension and repeatedly come back to the present whenever the mind wanders. The meditation concludes by resting in open awareness, creating space to experience stillness without needing to change your thoughts. This is a recording from a live Journey You Own Meditation Gathering, so you may notice natural pauses and gentle references to the shared practice.
