In this meditation, we will take a journey deep within. Becoming aware of our inner landscape and then consciously changing anything that no longer serves us. I invite you to make yourself completely comfortable,
Finding all of the support you need so you can rest completely in ease.
Using blankets,
Pillows,
And anything else you need to find a greater sense of being supported as you invite a sense of relaxation into your mind and body,
Letting go of the effort of your day as you envision yourself held in compassion,
Understanding,
And love,
Embraced in acceptance and grace.
No need to change a thing.
You are welcome here just as you are,
Accepting that we are all perfectly imperfect,
No longer hiding our brokenness.
Instead,
We can celebrate our newfound strength by picking up the pieces and reconnecting them with gold,
Creating a new version of ourselves that is stronger and even more beautiful than before.
The cracks are where we allow the light of limitless potential to come into our being.
As you proudly show the beauty of your golden cracks,
You make a difference in all those around you,
Ripples of possibility radiating into the world around you.
Like dropping a stone into a peaceful lake,
See and feel the ripples of healing potential all around you.
Take a quick scan of your physical body,
Starting at the top of your head,
Scan all the way down to the soles of your feet,
Noticing any areas that are tight or tense.
Just a quick surveying scan without judgment,
Becoming aware of any tightness or tension hiding out within.
Feeling any tension in the scalp,
The back of the head,
The sides of the head,
Observing the ears and face,
Feel both eyes and all of the tiny muscles around the eyes,
Asking them to soften.
Check in with the cheeks and nose,
Left nostril,
Right nostril,
Both nostrils together.
Notice the lips and the space between the lips,
Feel sensation in the neck and throat,
Both shoulders,
Arms,
And hands,
All the way down to the tips of your fingers,
And rest your awareness on the tips of your fingers,
Observing sensations you discover there.
Check in with your chest and upper back,
The front and back of the ribs,
The belly and low back,
The entire torso growing heavy and letting go.
Notice sensations in the hips and buttocks,
Both legs,
Ankles,
Feet,
And toes.
Rest your attention on the tips of the toes,
Becoming curious about what you discover there.
The entire body in the mood to relax,
The whole mind ready for deep rest,
As the energy within and all around shifts and changes into a more calm and steady state of being.
Now respectfully request the support of your guides,
Your guardians,
Your ancestors and angels.
No need to take this journey alone,
Open your heart and ask for the support you need.
Then begin to witness how the breath moves from outside of your being in.
It circulates through,
Then back out again,
An effortless flow in and out,
Observing this flow of breath as a means of connection,
Merging together your outer and inner worlds.
Once we remember this connection,
We can invite the outer world to melt into the background as we choose to dive deeper and deeper within.
Allow your breath to be a powerful tool of deep inner exploration.
Your breath becomes a guide and companion on this healing journey,
Setting our intention right here at the beginning.
In Yoga Nidra,

And we continue to work with our Sankalpa over and over again until it comes true.
Invite the simple phrase,
I am healed,
I am healthy,
I am whole.
Put these words into your mind,
And believe that healing on all levels really is possible.
Breathe them into your heart,

I am whole,
Imagining how it will feel in your body when this intention comes to fruition.
And allow this healing intention,
I am healed,
I am healthy,
I am whole,
To illuminate each and every cell of your body.
Clearly define what healing means to you.
Fully develop a clear intention of what you are pulling into your reality.
See or feel what healing means to you.
Become aware of a sensation of shimmering radiance within and all around you like a golden mist.
Begin to breathe in this golden healing mist.
Follow the beautiful golden air into your body,
Filling all cracks of your inner being.
And allow that golden mist to fill up your heart.
This golden mist becomes a brilliant light,
Overflowing your heart and filling you up completely.
Each inhalation brings in more luxurious golden light,
Until the whole body is comfortably full.
Feel the vibrant sensation within as the golden mist begins to radiate out from every pore.
Expanding the boundaries of your body.
Feel yourself enveloped in that beautiful golden light.
Like a protective layer of soft silky golden mist.
Welcome the embrace of this golden light,
Like the softest blanket you have ever felt.
Feeling its warmth wrapping around your shoulders,
Arms,
And hands.
Feel its softness against the back of your neck,
Your upper back,
Back of the ribs and low back.
Silky smooth comfort moving down over your buttocks and back of the legs to your feet and toes.
Allow that feeling of warm luxury to wash over the front of your legs,
Hips,
And torso.
Feel how this silky mist rests softly on the skin of your face and head.
Mystical healing energy envelops your whole body,
Like a baby happily swaddled in a luminous golden blanket of light.
Rest your awareness within the space of your mind.
Becoming curious,
What is the general atmosphere within your mind?
Like watching the clouds passing by in the sky,
Begin to observe your current thoughts without attaching any labels of good or bad to them.
Notice any to-do lists,
Anything that has been bothering you,
Or anything you have been worrying about.
Acknowledging any expectations of yourself or your practice.
Taking time to observe and explore all thoughts just as they are.
Simply watch as a puffy white cloud of thought rises to your awareness.
Notice the thought,
Then allow the breeze to swiftly carry that thought away,
Resting in the peace and quiet you discover in the space between the thoughts.
Then ask all of those thoughts to dissolve away,
Giving the tension in the mind full permission to release and let go.
As we step into the new version of ourselves,
There will be no need to bring along the old beliefs that we hold on to so tightly,
Allowing the tenderness of the breath to soften old beliefs and all tension,
Inviting it to melt away from the mind,
And call to mind a beautiful blue sky free from all the clouds of thought.
As you feel the warmth of the sun gently caressing your face,
Settling into a comfortable awareness of space within your body,
Space within your mind,
And space all around,
Allowing the mind to be open to all possibilities as we follow the guidance of divine potential.
The breath flows your attention down to the throat as you make a commitment to open up the line of communication between your mind and body.
Our busy everyday life sometimes causes us to feel disconnected,
Unsupported,
And alone.
This is simply an illusion of the mind.
Yogis call it maya.
Be open to listening to the guidance of your higher self,
Your guardians,
Angels,
And guides as you ask them to join you on this journey deep within.
Be willing to accept their support and love as you explore expanding into your higher self.
The expanded version of who you think you are beyond this physical body as we let go of all labels,
All titles,
And all expectations,
Breathing out anything that blocks the throat center as we feel into the space within and all around the throat.
Follow the flow of your golden breath down to the heart center,
Observing any lingering emotions here.
Do you discover any hardness surrounding your heart?
Hardness serves as a means of protection.
But as we rest swaddled in the golden healing energy,
Surrounded by love and support,
Are you willing to break down the wall of protection around your heart so that you can rediscover the beautiful,
Soft,
And tender loving heart that lies beneath all of that toughness?
There is power in our vulnerability.
There is strength in our softness.
Now imagine your heart as the vast and powerful ocean.
Notice the size and rhythm of your emotional waves.
Being honest,
Is there a turbulent storm waging within?
Or are the waves of your emotions barely visible?
Gentle ripples rising and falling on the horizon,
Ebbing and flowing naturally,
Watching the waves without allowing yourself to get caught up in them.
And then,
Regardless of what you discovered,
Allow the breath to become slow and deep,
Like the rhythmic tide,
Steady,
Easy breath falling in and out.
And hear your deep,
Relaxed breath,
Like the gentle waves lapping at the beach.
Tuning into the rise and fall of your breath,
No need to force,
No need to control or hold the breath in any way.
Instead,
Invite a simple,
Easy breath to fall in and fall out with as little effort as possible.
Your only job is to observe the wave-like motion of the breath as you give it clear passage to flow through you.
Follow the flow of breath and observe that you yourself become the flow.
Observe how the breath begins to empty you out.
Everything that no longer serves you rises to the surface,
And the breath meets it with compassion and grace,
Thanking it for the lesson it brought to you,
The evolution it allowed you to undergo,
The growth and expansion it stirred up.
And then the breath guides it to release,
Clearing the path for a whole new way of being.
Anything that does not support your higher self is cleared away.
Everything that has been holding you back from experiencing healing,
Health,
And wholeness is breathed out of your reality.
You are protected as you release it all with gratitude.
Once you have emptied out completely,
Observe all of the new space within you.
A sensation of lightness and openness.
A field of limitless possibilities as you finally uncover your higher self.
The expanded version of yourself has been here all along.
Deep within,
Covered up,
Forgotten,
And waiting for you to remember.
Remember to greet your higher self with reverence and anticipation of all you will accomplish together.
This is your spiritual self,
The part of you that is eternal.
No beginning and no end.
Feel how grateful your higher self is that you are doing the work.
That you made your way out of the darkness of forgetting who you really are.
When you are fully connected to your higher self,
You can feel the presence of the divine within you.
That connection brings you unlimited knowledge,
Wisdom,
Strength,
And power.
We are not meant to do the work all on our own.
We crave and seek the divine with reason.
In this deep connection,
We finally feel at home.
At ease.
Deeply loved,
Guided,
And protected.
This gives us the strength,
The power,
And the confidence to step boldly into the highest version of ourselves.
No longer limited,
Feel your limitless potential to call all of your dreams into reality.
Notice the power you feel coursing through your body.
Notice the strength of your mind.
The challenges you have faced may have broken you,
But you were able to rebuild stronger and even more beautiful than before.
Embrace all of your golden cracks with gratitude for your resilience.
Have complete faith in your ability to create effortlessly all that you desire.
You are creating new positive thoughts,
Words,
And actions.
Creating new habits that support the health and well-being of this healed body.
Creating a whole new personality that honors your higher self and this new way of being in the world.
Letting go of the effort of doing as we rest in being.
Being in this moment.
Being fully present and aware.
Being love itself.
Celebrating your new understanding of the power of your mind.
Feeling all of the support of your guides,
Your guardians,
Your ancestors and angels,
And your connection to the divine.
They are all always here supporting you and cheering you on.
And you simply need to remember to ask.
Sending them all of your love and appreciation.
Cultivating gratitude for their help and guidance.
Together,
You were able to uncover your healing,
Your health,
And your wholeness.
Together,
You embraced this beautiful body and vowed to proudly allow your golden cracks to shine.
These are your badges of courage,
Honor,
Strength,
And resilience.
They are your reminder that you are so much stronger than you realize.
You are powerful beyond comprehension.
These battle wounds are what give you compassion for others.
A level of understanding that you wouldn't have if you didn't face the darkness and make it out into the light again.
And once you have made it through your dark night of the soul,
It becomes your responsibility and pleasure to help others that are still in the darkness.
Turn around and offer your hand.
Tell them I've got you.
You are not alone.
I have been where you are.
And I'll show you the way out.
Just come with me.
Allowing your experience to now be a shining light.
A life lesson that allowed you to remember who you really are.
Committing this sense of wholeness and ease into your memory.
Feel each and every cell illuminated with that golden healing energy.
Not allowing it to fade away as you return to wakefulness.
Instead,
Allow it to be your companion.
Your friend.
Your reminder to embrace your higher self always.
Allowing your light to shine brightly,
Never dimming it for anyone.
Remember your intention and repeat it silently within three times.
