Take a deep breath in,
And gently close your eyes.
Easily imagine the following scene while you continue to breathe in slowly and calmly.
See yourself relaxing by a beautiful,
Calm lake.
The breeze softly blows over the lake,
And watch all of the tiny ripples it creates on the surface of the lake.
It allows a feeling of complete peace to wash over your entire body and mind.
Your body begins to grow heavy and soften.
Breathe in deeply and allow the peacefulness to fill you up.
Notice the birds singing in the trees,
Softly chirping and singing songs of their simple joy.
Take some time now to breathe out any worries.
As we inhale,
Gather any thoughts that are bothering you,
And as we exhale,
Let them all go.
Inhaling gather any sadness you may be feeling,
And exhaling let it all go.
Exhaling gather any anger or frustration,
And exhaling let it go.
It's okay to feel all of these things,
We just want to let them go so that we can feel better.
So together we will let all of those thoughts and feelings float up,
Out,
And away,
Just like a balloon floating far,
