Kathleen Cator

Kathleen is a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher. Kathleen discovered compassion and mindfulness practices to be a useful antidote to her self-critic and essential self-care when juggling study, working with clients and mothering three children. Kathleen has trained with many inspirational teachers, including mindfulness pioneer, Jon Kabat-Zinn, and the founder of Compassion Focused Therapy, Paul Gilbert. She obtained a masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology. She later completed Mindful Self-Compassion teacher training through USCD Centre for Mindfulness with the program founders Kristen Neff and Chris Germer.
