Good evening and welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.
I'm really grateful you're here with me.
Allow your body to settle and ease into a comfortable position in your bed.
Now close your eyes and tune into the rhythm of your breathing,
Feeling it slow you down.
The night feels tender,
With change in the air,
A quiet shift in rhythm,
A new chapter gently unfolding.
There is a familiar ache here,
The bittersweet pull of watching them grow,
The soft worry wrapped in love.
Let your body begin to soften,
Let your mind unravel and loosen,
Let all those thoughts,
All those worries,
All of those what ifs,
Just let go,
You've done enough.
You've kissed foreheads,
You've packed memories into lunchboxes,
You've whispered courage into their hearts,
When perhaps your own was trembling.
You are a steady hand,
A warm place to land,
A lighthouse for the ones who call you home.
Let your breath deepen now,
Let the air soothe the tight spaces,
And let it remind you that you don't have to know exactly what's next.
You only have to meet each day with love.
There will be mornings of rushing,
And moments of silence that may sting.
There will be laughter,
And maybe even some tears,
But you will be there,
Present,
Rooted,
Trusting the guidance inside to move you through what unfolds.
You don't have to get it all right,
You just have to keep showing up as the tender-hearted guide you are.
That is more than enough.
Tonight is for resting,
For releasing the weight of invisible expectations,
For returning to the quiet center where peace lives untouched.
Let this night hold you,
Let the soft hush of your breath carry your worries away.
You are safe here,
And they are safe too.
The school year will unfold exactly as it's meant to.
So sleep now,
Cradled in the faith,
Knowing that love prepares them more than anything ever else could.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
