We're going to take some time to look inward and find gratitude for this particular season,

Whichever season you have found yourself in right now.

So taking a moment to find comfort in your body.

Settling in.

Adjusting your body.

Maybe letting the shoulders soften.

Unclenching the jaw.

Letting your belly relax.

As you tap into your breath.

It's natural,

Easy rhythm.

So smooth and effortless.

And taking a slow inhale through the nose.

And an easy exhale out of your mouth.

Again a big inhale.

And exhale.

And feel yourself being supported by the surface beneath you.

Feel the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.

Allow these points to anchor you in the moment.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment.

Letting go of whatever happened earlier today.

And releasing anything that may be coming up later today or this week.

Nothing else exists right now.

Except for your breath in this moment.

Taking a big deep breath in through the nose.

One more time.

Open mouth exhale.

Let it go.

If you'd like you can place a hand on your belly or your heart if that feels good to you.

Maybe noticing the warmth of your own touch.

And tuning in to the natural rhythm of your breath.

A small rise and fall beneath your hand as you breathe.

Just remembering that this season of life,

The one you're in right now,

Is unique.

It may feel tender,

Overwhelming,

Uncertain,

Joyful,

Confusing,

Exhausting,

Beautiful,

Everything in between,

Or maybe all of those at once.

And that's okay.

Whatever this season of life feels like,

It is yours and it is okay to feel that way.

This is your season of life.

It is temporary.

And it is worthy of gratitude.

Even if it's a tough season.

There are little bits of beauty in it.

Turning your gaze inward.

And now connecting with your deepest self.

Your inner wise mother.

Your most authentic self.

Be grateful for her and how she shows up every day in this season of life.

And now think of one tiny thing from this season of life that you're grateful for.

Something simple.

A quiet morning.

A special day.

Out with a friend.

Maybe a weird craving that you had that made you smile.

If you're pregnant,

A little kick from your baby.

Or if your little ones here,

A snuggle or smile from them.

Maybe just another chance to be here and alive,

Experiencing another day.

Let that gratitude fill your heart.

There is always something to be grateful for.

Allow this gratitude to soften your chest.

And let the rest of your body follow.

And now bring to mind something you're grateful for about yourself in this season.

Maybe it's your patience,

Your strength,

Your willingness to keep going,

Your softness,

Or the love you give others.

Allow that gratitude to wash through your body.

You are worthy of being grateful for.

Your heart,

Your body,

Your spirit.

It's so worthy of gratitude from yourself and from those around you.

Now widen your gratitude circle a little,

Making it a bit bigger.

And think of something about this season that has shaped you.

Something that has taught you,

Stretched you,

Or helped you discover a new part of yourself.

Maybe it was hard,

Maybe it was beautiful,

Maybe a little bit of both.

Just telling yourself,

I am grateful for what this season is teaching me.

And again,

I am grateful for what this season is teaching me.

And returning your awareness now to your breath.

Feel it move in and out.

Steady and soft.

On the inhale,

I am here.

And on the exhale,

I am grateful.

Allow these words to anchor you in the moment.

In this season,

In this life that you're creating and living for yourself.

Knowing that you are right where you're supposed to be.

You're not behind,

You're not ahead,

But you're right here in the place you are meant to be.

And this season is an important chapter of your story.

A chapter that won't last forever,

But it is important right now.

And telling yourself three times,

I am grateful for this season of life.

Now taking a big,

Deep breath in through the nose,

And open mouth exhale,

Let it go.

Returning to this moment,

To this space.

Opening your eyes and closing your meditation practice.
