There are different ways to get grounded, and when we are in Nature, one way is to connect with the earth beneath your feet. In this way, you'll build a relationship between your body and NATURE, which ll enable you to calm down, slow down and make space for what is there thanks to her electric magnetic field. By using the sense of touch and sight, you ll get present. The more you get grounded, the more you ll feel present in the Now, and what else around you ll pass by , as a car in the street ,won't affect you that much. Nothing magical, but all is possible to get by practice and in your daily life. I encourage you, when trying this short eco somatic practice, to remember what sensations will emerge and where in your body, so to get back to it anytime you ll need to be on " your roots" and slow down, but outdoor nature is not available

Transcript

I invite you today to connect with the element of earth,

Finding your position,

Standing up,

Feeling your feet really planting into the soil of this carpet of leaves,

Feeling the sole of your feet really connected with the earth from the left to the right,

Your mind looking around and becoming familiar with all the shapes,

The colors of the leaves,

The grass,

Familiar with the path that we are going to take for a small,

Short walking meditation,

Feel connected with your breathing,

Sense the freshness of the air around you coming into your nose,

Your mouth,

Down to your neck,

Through expanding to your chest,

Feeling the openness provided by the air and the coolness,

You might have some noises coming around,

Just be curious and try to be present on the earth,

The earth is supporting you from your feet up to your calf,

Your knees,

Your legs,

Your pelvis,

And that will enable you to move and whenever you're ready,

Step out your first movement with the left feet,

Sensing your feet inch by inch touching the leaves,

Sensing the softness and the soothedness behind yourself,

Connected with your breathing anytime if you'd like to have a pause,

You might pause here,

Again looking around,

Activate your sights,

Look at your left and connect with these two beautiful trees,

They're getting up to the trunk,

To the branches,

Up to the sky,

You might get your gaze up,

Look in the long branches connected with all other elements of nature and feeling present,

Feeling steady,

Feeling grounded on your roots,

At the root of this big old tree and feeling a sense of length in yourself,

Embody the sense of width with the branches and get a sense of depth with the path they are going to follow with another step step by step,

Moment by moment breath by breath breath by breath,

Moment by moment enjoy the creeping sounds of the leaves under your feet and stay curious,

Maybe an invitation to squat down and really touch the leaves,

Sensing the texture the shape,

The beautiful colors and get them back,

Give them back to the earth as you're coming back to your path invitation is to carry on as much as you feel,

As much as you want but stay in touch with the nature and the sensation of feeling grounded,

Open,

Steady,

Ready to move on any time get in touch with your breathing again and release
