Welcome,
My name is Lente and this meditation is dedicated to the Spring Aquanux.
Today the 20th of March is the Spring Aquanux.
This occurs when the sun crosses the equator line heading north in the sky as the earth tips over inviting in more light,
Moving to a more illuminated time.
This new cycle represents new life and light,
Growth and new beginnings.
The rhythm and journey of the sun has always been celebrated and honored by many ancient civilizations.
This Aquanux is a moment to welcome Spring and move from darkness back into the light.
In this meditation you'll tap into this rhythmic energy of nature and invite in your own inner light.
So find a comfortable seat,
Somewhere where you won't be disturbed and preferably put on your headphones.
Now allow yourself to root down through the seat.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth,
Let excess energy out.
Two more times.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Last one in.
And then let it all go.
Relax.
Allow the breath to gently settle in its natural rhythm.
Trust your body and simply follow the soft movement of your belly and chest,
Up and down.
Let the mind travel inward and notice where you are in this moment.
Connect to your seat.
Connect to your body and release any tension you might feel.
Any tension in the face or the jaw,
Let go.
Relax the shoulders and the heart space,
The belly and the hips,
Legs,
Feet and even the fingers and the toes.
Just relax and let go.
Finally connect to your mind and let the external world simply be.
Allow yourself to be tuned in.
Now notice any restlessness or disturbance you might encounter in the mind or body.
Take a moment to sit with this silently and just accept it.
These disturbances represent any discomfort or worry you might have.
Now moving into the light it is time to let that go.
Release yourself of these disturbances.
Take another deep breath in and on the exhale release.
Again deep breath in,
Exhale release.
Last one in and then exhale give it all back to the earth.
Back to your body.
Feel you are still rooted in your seat connected to the earth.
But now notice the crown of your head reaching out to the sky,
Physically creating more space in the body.
Feel the same space in your chest and belly opening up,
The inhalations and exhalations rising and falling.
With this new space you are holding invite in new energy.
Invite in light.
Invite in possibilities.
Invite in clarity.
Allow this energy to replace the old.
Moving forward,
Moving with the rhythm of the sun tapping into this energetic fresh new cycle.
In this period of new beginnings while nature is waking up and being reborn,
Allow the same thing to happen to you,
To happen for you.
Reawake the mind and notice your spirit come alive with this new energy you are inviting in.
Feel this energy moving into your body,
Moving into your mind with every inhale.
Invite it all in.
Every breath inhaling the new,
Exhaling the old.
Cleansing the body and soul.
Nourish yourself with this mindful breath.
In and out.
Inhaling new energy,
Exhaling letting go of the old.
Inhaling light,
Exhaling discomfort.
Give yourself a moment to truly connect with this nourishing breath in your own rhythm.
Take a moment to consciously sit with this breath,
Letting the new energy in and the old energy out.
One hour mind at a time.
All right.
With this renewed sense of energy,
Allow yourself to arrive in this new cycle.
This is the time to manifest,
To open yourself up to new possibilities and plant the seeds of new beginnings.
Allow yourself to blossom and enjoy this period of more creativity,
Focus and energy.
