Tune in to the Earth's healing vibrations, to ground yourself, rebalance, and replenish your energies. When we engage with the felt sense of the steady ground beneath us, our bodies automatically synchronize with the slower, more coherent energies of the ground. This meditation combines mindfulness, grounding, breath awareness, and visualization. It may be especially useful if you feel restless, scattered, wired or exhausted, and is a good way to manage stress and anxiety.

Theme music Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

Notice the sounds around you,

In the distance and near.

Let them be there.

Notice your thoughts coming and going.

Let them pass by.

Notice the air on your face and on your body.

Feel the contact of your body with the surface beneath you.

Notice your body's weight,

Its temperature,

Volume.

Come down into your body.

And begin to notice the small movements your body makes as you breathe.

Allow your belly to soften.

Allow your mind to soften.

And surrender the weight of your body to the support beneath you.

Soften into this support.

Notice what happens as you take support.

Acknowledge the support beneath you connects to ground.

Allow it to become an extension of ground.

And rest here a while.

Rest your body on ground.

Rest your mind on ground.

Notice what happens as you rest.

Become aware of the ebb and flow of your breath.

Its ins and outs.

And on your out breath,

Release into the ground which your body holds from the day and no longer needs.

With each breath,

Lighten your load.

Let it soften and release.

Flowing out of your body into the ground.

Down and away.

Notice what happens as your body releases.

Follow the ebb and flow of your breath.

Its ins and outs.

And on your out breath,

Release into the ground what your mind holds from the day and no longer needs.

With each breath,

Soften the muscle of your mind.

Let it soften and release what no longer serves you.

Flowing out of your mind into the ground.

Down and away.

Notice what happens as your mind releases.

Let your focus come down to the ground beneath you.

And to the depth of the planet supporting you.

Consider you are made of the same stuff as earth.

Water,

Minerals,

Crystals,

All flowing around your body.

You share a natural affinity with earth.

It's like coming home.

Come home to earth.

Come home to yourself.

Notice what happens as you come home.

Let your focus come down to the ground beneath you.

And to the depth of the planet supporting you.

Sit back into ground.

Be held a while.

Let earth cradle you.

Feel its steady vibration beneath you.

Balancing,

Feeling.

Begin to tune in with it.

And allow earth's energy to flow into you.

Flow into your body.

Flow up into your mind.

Enjoy receiving.

Notice what happens as you allow yourself to receive.

Allow yourself to be.

Know that earth is a fundamental resource.

It is both mother and father.

Nurturing and empowering.

It is always here for you.

All it takes is for you to notice,

Connect with earth and just be.

Allow yourself just to be.

Just be.

Just be.

And in your own time,

Become aware of the sounds around you.

Notice the air on your face.

Feel the weight of your body and the support beneath you.

Begin to sense the room and your surroundings.

Notice how you are feeling.

Give yourself an appreciation.

Thank the earth for its healing.

And when you are ready,

You can draw this meditation to a close.
