Namaste yogis.
And welcome to this meditation.
I invite you to do this meditation in the morning after rising or in the evening before bedtime.
We will begin in Savasana lying on your back.
Bring your legs out long in front of you.
Separate your feet wide.
Bring your arms to your side with your palms facing up.
And now very softly,
Close your eyes.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
Don't try to change it.
Just allow your belly to rise and fall on its own with very,
Very little effort.
Your breathing is normal and steady.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax the back of the neck.
Relax all 10 toes and relax into your fingers.
Now imagine that you're lying on a beach.
You're lying on a beautiful bed of sand.
Allow the sand to support your entire body.
You are extremely comfortable.
As you lie on this beautiful bed of soft sand,
Feel the breeze from the wind at the tip of the nose and the toes of the feet.
Imagine that the wind is cool,
Warm,
Or temperate.
What do you prefer?
And as the breeze brush across your entire body,
Continue to give yourself permission to totally relax.
Now bring your awareness to all 10 toes.
As the breeze brush across all 10 toes,
Allow the toes to softly disappear into the sand.
Now bring your awareness to the toes and the soles of the feet.
The toes have now become one with the sand.
As the wind brush across the soles of the feet,
Now the feet start to disappear and become one with the sand.
The toes and the feet now have become the sand.
Bring your awareness to your ankles.
As the breeze brush across the ankles,
The ankles start to disappear and become one with the sand.
The ankles now are the sand.
Now bring your awareness to the bottom of the leg.
As the breeze starts to brush against the leg,
The leg starts to disappear.
Then the knees,
Slowly the thighs start to disappear.
The thighs are now one with the sand.
The thighs are the sand.
Now bring your awareness to all 10 fingers.
The breeze starts to brush against the 10 fingers.
The fingers start to disappear and become one with the sand.
Now the wrist,
The arms slowly disappear.
The elbows,
The tops of the arm slowly disappear into the sand and become the sand.
Now bring your attention to your hips.
The breeze softly brush against the hips.
The hips begin to disappear and become the sand.
Then the lower belly,
The rib cage,
The chest,
The shoulders start to disappear and become one with the sand.
The breeze softly brush against the neck.
The neck begins to slowly disappear and become one with the sand.
Then the chin,
The mouth,
Your cheeks,
Your nose,
Your eyes,
Your forehead,
And the top of the head,
The back of the head,
Your ears,
Your entire your entire body,
From the tip of your toes to the top of your head is now one with the sand.
Your entire body now has become the sand.
This beautiful bed of soft sand.
You are now one with it.
You feel light and soft.
Now imagine that you're looking down at this beautiful bed of sand.
That is now you.
Who is the observer?
Who is the observer?
Are you just your physical body?
You are in control.
You're in control of your thoughts.
You are in control of your emotions.
You are in control of consciousness.
You are in control of your due to do list.
You are in control of your daily life.
You,
The observer,
Begin to slowly come back into your physical body.
Allow your toes to solidify.
Now your feet.
Slowly your ankles and your legs solidify.
Coming back into this physical body.
Your knees,
Your thighs,
Your fingers,
And wrist.
Your lower arms,
Elbows,
Upper arms.
Slowly your hips,
Your lower belly,
Your pelvis,
Rib cage,
Chest,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Chin,
Mouth,
Cheeks,
Nose,
Eyes,
Forehead,
Top of the head,
Back of the head,
Ears,
Your entire body now from the tips of the toes to the top of the head.
The physical body is now present.
Remember,
You're so much more than this physical body.
You,
The observer,
You are always in control.
Control of your thoughts,
Your emotions,
Your daily activities,
Your consciousness.
Take a deep breath into your nose and as you slowly exhale,
Allow yourself,
Give yourself permission to be supported by this beautiful bed of sand that you once became.
Knowing that you are always one with the universe.
Just as you were one with this bed of sand.
As you go into the rest of your day,
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be well.
You,
The observer.
Namaste.
