Hello and welcome.
I am very glad to have you here,
Carving out space for yourself.
And today we'll journey inward to strengthen that quiet confidence we all carry,
Self-trust.
Whether you've been caught in overthinking loops,
Or you're simply seeking a gentler way to decide,
This practice will help you anchor in your own wisdom one small choice at a time.
So find a comfortable seat or lie down wherever you feel supported.
And rest your hands softly in your lap,
Go by your sides.
And take a slow inhale through your nose,
And a long exhale through your mouth.
And again,
Inhaling through the nose,
Calm.
And exhaling,
Any tension.
One more time,
Inhaling presence.
And exhaling anything holding you back.
Now let's bring our attention to the mind.
Notice any thoughts of what if I choose wrong,
Or should I wait for more information?
Imagine those thoughts as leaves drifting on a stream.
Visible,
But not urgent.
Acknowledge them gently and kindly,
And let them flow by.
Now,
Let's gently turn your focus to a small choice you made today.
A sip of coffee?
The route you took to work?
Or the outfit you chose today?
Can you recall that moment?
A brief pause?
A decision?
And what or how you felt right after choosing?
Notice how your body responds when you lean into that memory of acting.
Perhaps a subtle expansion in your chest,
Or a steadying in your belly.
Notice how the body responds.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I'm learning as I go.
Each breath,
Invite curiosity.
Ask,
What can I discover by trusting myself more?
What becomes possible?
If any doubt arises,
Greet it with compassion.
A gentle thank you for showing up.
I'm safe to choose anyway.
Now,
Let's anchor in a simple mantra.
I choose,
I learn,
I grow.
I choose,
I learn,
I grow.
Inhale,
I choose.
Exhale,
I learn.
Inhale,
I grow.
Repeat at your own pace.
Feel each freeze settle into your bones.
Reminding you that every decision,
Big or small,
Is a step forward.
Let's take one last full breath in.
And let it go with gratitude.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Come back to the room.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
I'd love for you to carry this practice with you today.
And notice one small decision.
Make it swiftly.
And remember,
Your trust grows in action.
Thank you for joining me in meditation today.
I hope you are well.
