Hello,
How are you?
This audio has been both easy and difficult to do.
The fact that we're living the same thing all over the world allows me to feel empathy with you.
People who have previously gone through something similar to this are so few,
You can practically say this is a new experience for everyone.
We are partners in this path,
No matter where you are in the world.
I know that when I tell you that I understand you,
You will know that my words are sincere.
And like you,
I wish with all my strength to return to normality and resume so many things that I paused.
This has been the easy part,
Telling you that I understand you,
That I share your feelings,
And that we seek the same thing.
As much as we know that human beings are the same species,
Not everyone thinks that way.
And it's easy to find differences of all sorts.
However,
Something that I see more clearly,
Not only with my mind,
But also with my heart,
Is that at the core,
We are all the same.
And despite speaking other languages or living in different regions,
A person is and will always be what you and I are.
The difficult part for me has been accepting that our humanity has weaknesses.
Who would have thought that our lives would change in this way overnight?
But I want to tell you that this is not a punishment from the universe or God.
It is simply part of the human condition,
And it's something that we will get out of.
It's temporary,
And the worst part is over.
This is not the first time we have experienced a pandemic,
And we have learned a lot.
Medicine has advanced giant steps as a result of it,
And the brightest minds have come together to find solutions in record time.
Most of us,
On the other hand,
Have learned to identify what is essential to survive and to be grateful for what we have.
Little by little,
The economy will reactivate.
I see how tourism in my country begins to take small steps,
And it's a relief to know that we have the security protocols to minimize the risk of spreading the virus.
I know that I can visit neighbor countries if necessary,
But I feel comfortable waiting for a little longer.
It seems ironic,
But I'm not in a hurry,
And I'm thankful for feeling that I have more freedom and options in my hands.
I made new friends virtually and found that having video calls with loved ones fills my heart with joy.
How great it is to have all these means and technology to be in touch,
And I'm very grateful to all the people who interact with me on social media,
Inside Timer,
And my YouTube channels.
It's wonderful to see what happens in difficult times,
When,
For example,
We offer to help to bring food from the supermarket to a neighbor,
While we use the face masks in discomfort in an act of protection to our families and also to all the people who walk by around us.
These are acts of love,
Solidarity,
And generosity.
One single person is strong,
But people united are unbreakable,
And now in others we find our strength,
Integrity,
And resilience.
If you feel fragile,
Lean on others.
Now more than ever you will find a hand ready to lift you up.
Look for distractions,
Hobbies,
And why not,
Creative ideas that you can implement sooner or later.
Change is one of the few things that are constant,
And just as our habits and liberties changed,
Soon this reality will be behind us,
And we will discover the pleasure of celebrating as a great family having overcome this stage.
Cheer up!
We have come a long way and we're approaching the final stretch.
Do not hesitate to approach those who love you.
Tell them how you feel about them and value their presence,
Even if it's virtual.
You are stronger than you think.
You are my strength,
And I want to be your strength.
If you can,
I can,
And if I can,
You can.
Receive many blessings.
