Mornings can feel rushed and it's easy to get swept away into the whirlwind of the day's activities without taking a moment to pause and reflect on how you're feeling and what your heart's intentions are for the day. You deserve this time. Start your day from a positive and empowering place, focusing on your energy and your heart's compass. Listen to this meditation before rising out of bed to help you ground and welcome in high vibrations each morning.

Before rising for the day,

Take this time to get centered and grounded before your day begins.

So if it feels right,

Keep your eyes closed and lay comfortably on your bed.

First,

Notice how your body feels after sleeping.

Do you feel rested?

Tired?

Energized?

Emotional?

Know that however you feel in this moment is completely okay.

Try not to judge how you are.

Simply become a loving witness and observe your present condition.

Now begin to open your senses.

Notice how your bed feels beneath you,

How the sheets feel as they touch your skin,

Or the temperature of the room.

What sounds do you hear nearby or in the distance?

What smell is coming up to you?

Allow yourself to be fully in your body and become aware of your space.

Feel free to move or stretch parts of your body that want to move after a night's rest.

Close your eyes if they aren't already.

Bring your attention to your heart and the space where it sits.

Take some breaths in and out of your heart space.

Imagine that nourishing energy or light is entering in through your heart as you breathe in,

Filling up your entire body like a warm hug.

Now begin to open your eyes.

As you breathe out,

See this beautiful light filling up your auric field that surrounds your entire being.

Two feet in front of you,

Behind you,

Below you,

Above you,

And on both sides of you.

Keep breathing in and out.

Become full of bright,

Radiant light.

Repeat this mantra to yourself several times.

I am light.

Now bring awareness to your eyes.

And if it feels right,

Feel free to blink your eyes open or keep them shut.

Simply notice any light entering the room or entering through your eyelids.

Take a moment to appreciate that your eyes have opened once again today.

That you have been given another day to see and live and breathe.

Breathe in and appreciate the breath you are given today so that you can live.

Thank your heart for keeping the steady drumbeat of life moving through you,

Allowing you to be alive today.

Go ahead and thank other parts of your body,

Perhaps your arms so that you can hug someone today,

Or your hands that hold,

Your ears to hear the symphony of life happening all around you.

Close your eyes if they're not already and continue to feel grateful for all that you have in life.

Perhaps the roof over your head,

The safe,

Warm space you are in,

The kind people in your life,

Or maybe your pet that loves you unconditionally.

What are you grateful for today,

In this moment?

Now pause here to allow the feeling of appreciation and unconditional,

Universal love to flow through your body's channels.

Let this innate love land in your bones.

Really feel it here.

Repeat this to yourself several times,

I am so blessed.

Life can be so hard at times.

At times we can feel heavy,

Frustrated,

Lonely,

Angry,

Sad,

Lost,

And that's okay.

You are not alone.

Wherever you are,

You get to start brand new today.

So remember this,

You are doing great,

Dear one.

You are an incredible light being and you are an essential part of this web of life.

You matter.

Your heart has amazing gifts to share with the world.

And by expressing and experiencing what you love,

Your soul comes into alignment with your higher self.

And you live your purpose on this planet and in this lifetime.

There is no need to figure life all out.

There is no need to know what is to come.

That will only bring more worry and anxiety.

Give yourself permission to only focus on today,

Right now,

Just the next moment.

Today,

See if you can allow your heart's compass to guide you.

Follow what lights you up and what brings you joy.

By doing so,

Your positive energy will ripple out into the world and inspire others to do the same,

Whether you are even aware of it or not.

Trust that life will work itself out when you walk from a place of love.

Repeat this mantra to yourself.

I am light.

I am love.

I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.

I'm right on time.

I don't need to know everything.

I trust that I'm supported.

Now take a deep breath in and open your mouth and exhale all the air out.

Bring your awareness back to your body and the space that you're in.

Take your time getting out of bed.

When you're ready,

Go ahead and rise and shine into this new day of new hopes and dreams.

And so it is.
