Meet your Teacher

Franko Heke
Auckland, New Zealand

Nikki and Franko are passionate advocates of authentic relating and positive sexual education. They have five daughters between them and are the co-founders of NZ Spirit Festival held each year in paradise. Based in New Zealand for the Summer and Bali for the Winter, Nikki and Franko also travel to India annually to continue their study of traditional Tantra. Franko, a mantra musician, is a strong advocate for empowerment and community through voice and teaches Maori-infused kirtan. Franko continues to find rich inspiration for life in the ancient healing modalities of Tantra, meditation, yoga and mantra. Nikki, also a yoga teacher and dancer, has a degree in psychology, childbirth education and was a lecturer at the University of Auckland in Ancient Greek and Roman Medicine specialising on issues surrounding women's health and sexuality in the ancient world. Together, Nikki and Franko are devoted travellers, presenting workshops and various retreats across the world.

Lesson 1

Sex Is Art: What Is Tantra & What Is It Not?

In this session, we will learn how to open ourselves to a deeply sacred sexual experience. We will start by connecting into our own sensuality by letting our bodies be our guide. We will also explore the possibility of sex as a spiritual practice that is both orgasmically physical and also encourages access and exploration of the higher energy centers.

Spiritual Potential Of Sacred Sex: Sensuality & Surrender

In this session, we will learn how to bring ourselves back to the present moment and explore the lush sensuality that exists all around us. We will start by exploring the representation of sensuality, creation and union in all of nature. Returning to our own inner landscapes, we will explore some of the inherited belief systems and conditionings that are preventing us from accessing our pleasure potential.

Communication & Desire: The Importance Of Language In Love

In this session, we will learn how to tune into ourselves and our desires. Through an exploration of the language used to convey intimacy, we will encourage reprogramming of terminology that hinders true sexual expression. By clearing that which is blocking pleasure, we are more easily able to connect with our deep longings within sexual union and communicate them with clarity.

Lesson 4

Environment: Preparing The Inner & Outer Landscapes For Sexual Union

In this session, we will learn how to foster clarity, desire and sensuality by preparing our inner environment for conscious love-making. We will do this by drawing you back to an embodied presence by quietning down certain voices within yourself that take you out of the experience. We will also explore the practice of fostering genital consciousness within ourselves and the benefits this awareness has brings during love-making.

Shakti Energy: Wild, Raw, Sensuous

In this session, we will learn how to recognise Shakti energy within ourselves and explore ways to channel the energy up the energy centres of our body. In the last session, we connected deeply to our own essence in order to listen to the more subtle signs of our most sensitive organs. We will now lift our focus to our breath and explore the infinite potential of channeling this most enriching sexual tool.

Lesson 6

Shiva Energy: Penetrating Power Of Focussed Energy

In this session, we will learn how to identify the magnificence of Shiva energy within ourselves. Having explored the art of kissing in last session, today we lift the focus again to the eyes and their deeply honest communication. Through expanding our awareness of Shiva energy, we will learn to release any inhibiting beliefs surrounding sexual performance and look at ways to cultivate honour during sexual union.

Sound Of Sex: Pelvic Floor Consciousness

In this session, we will learn the importance of authentic physical release by exploring our pelvic floor area. In the last session, we dived into the beauty and benefits of lingam worship as well as the ecstatic potential that lies within eye-gazing. Today we open ourselves to the power of vocalisation and the meditative magic of mantra.

Pathways To Ananda: Touch, Suspense & Breast Pleasure

In this session, we will learn how to draw out the sexual experience to reap the rewards of diving into the subtle energy layers and channels. We will get there by exploring different massage techniques and ways to help cultivate breast awareness. Continuing on from the vocalisation explored yesterday, we will explore ways to reach even deeper into our vibrational centres and access deeply orgasmic states of being.

Shakti-Shiva Union

In this session, we will learn some of the best kept Tantric secrets surrounding sacred spot stimulation and orgasm. Yesterday we looked into the magic that lies in our heartspace and the importance of conscious touch to revitalise our sexual energy and increase the capacity for pleasure. We will now dispel some of the myths surrounding women’s pleasure and examine sexual union from a non-ejaculatory approach.

Integration: Living & Loving In Healthy Sexual Activation

In this session, we will learn a basic three-step journey back to mastering one’s own sexual energy. We’ve taken Trantric courses before It was nice to have it from the masculine and feminine perspective The tools, breathing, techniques, touch, awareness, will be revisited.
