Alexander Technique

Join Alexander Technique teacher Nicholas Brandon for a gentle, experiential exploration into ease and awareness. In his 60-minute live sessions, you’ll learn how mindful attention to posture and breathing can dissolve unnecessary tension, calm the nervous system, and bring a sense of lightness to everyday movement. Each week, I will address a particular topic, which could be on breathing, movement, poise and presence, stress, trauma, which is held in the body and how we can come to terms with it and learn to feel and heal and be more comfortable in the body. We will also look at functional, natural, healthy ways of using the body in harmony with its natural design to increase our body's intelligence, enhancing its capacity to heal and restore to feel more fully awake, alive and energised.
