Welcome to our group...Safe and Settled! This is a safe and healing space created by Bhanu Joy Harrison, LCSW from Choosing Mindfulness to support each other and share resources to assist in self regulation, connection with ourselves and others and deepen our sense of safety and compassion for all living beings. Join us for continued discussion on topics of my Live sessions, deepening your understanding of your nervous system, polyvagal theory, trauma, healing, aging and moving from surviving to thriving by cultivating curiosity, kindness, equanimity and heartful presence. My passion is designing and teaching classes and workshops on mindful living, nervous system regulation, embodiment practices and working with challenging emotions, trauma, and chronic pain. I love teaching those new to mindfulness as well as providing continuing education for bodyworkers, social workers and counselors. As a clinical social worker, I focus on body centered and mindful approaches to trauma resolution and self regulation with my clients and strive to bring more joy into the world. Please use this group to mindfully share your experience with kindness and compassion. Speaking from your own experience, rather than giving advice to others helps keep this group safe.
