And as you exhale,
Just sigh out any tension,
Any stress from the day,
Just allowing yourself to come into this moment,
Letting go of everything that transpired up until this moment.
Another deep breath in.
Oh,
Sigh it out.
Letting go of everything that's to come,
Everything beyond this moment,
The to-do list,
The busyness.
Like sand through an hourglass,
Allowing your energy to coalesce into this moment.
Feeling the weight of your body resting into the support beneath you.
Feeling the support beneath you rising up and holding you.
Noticing how effortless it is for the support to hold you.
Noticing bringing your attention to how the earth supports you,
Rises up and meets you with every step you've ever taken,
With every step you'll ever take.
Mother Earth will rise up and meet you.
And so you can rest even more into this moment,
Into this moment.
Just allowing the breath to be easy and natural.
I want you to imagine yourself in a beautiful place in nature,
The weather,
The temperature,
The most perfect ideal day for you.
The nature around you so soothing to your senses,
To your eyes,
The beautiful colors,
The textures,
The landscape.
Soothing the senses of your ears,
The sounds.
Maybe you hear wind,
Maybe you hear water,
Maybe you hear animals.
Breathing in,
Smelling all the amazing smells that are present here.
The freshness,
The aliveness of it all.
You could even imagine the textures around you touching the nature that's right here with you.
The roughness,
The smoothness,
The wetness,
Whatever it is for you in this moment.
I want you to imagine now calling forward within your awareness a part of you that has been resistant in some way.
Resistant to change,
Resistant to new habits.
Maybe this part of you plays it out through avoidance or distraction.
Maybe there's a ongoing tape in your mind of excuses of why you shouldn't be giving something up or doing things differently.
And just imagining this part of you in front of you as if it were a separate person.
And maybe it shows up at a certain age.
Maybe this resistant part is younger.
And then calling forward the part of you that has been inspired for change,
That has been motivated and without knowing,
Maybe in some way was unkind to the part of you that's been in resistance.
Maybe in some way the motivated part of you has criticized or judged the resistance,
Been cruel or even blaming.
And so here is your today self witnessing two parts of you.
The resistance and the part of you that's motivated.
And sometimes maybe a little mean to the resistance.
I want you to imagine the part of you that's been motivated saying to the part of you that's been resistant,
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry I bullied you.
I'm sorry I judged you.
I'm sorry I criticized you.
I'm sorry I called you terrible,
Horrible things.
I'm sorry for the lack of understanding that I held.
I didn't see that you were scared or that you were feeling so alone and misunderstood.
I'm so sorry for how I've been towards you.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
And just imagine that part of you that's been in resistance breathing these words in like a healing salve,
Washing through every cell of your being,
Soothing the hurt in the heart,
Dissolving the shame.
And then imagining your resistant part saying to the part of you that's been motivated,
I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to communicate my needs in a way that allowed you to understand.
I'm sorry that I got so scared and so stuck that everything stopped and slowed down.
I'm so sorry that fear overwhelmed me.
I'm so sorry for how I've been resistant.
Please forgive me.

And maybe sooner than you could imagine,
These two parts of you just meld and merge and become one.
Maybe this takes some time.
Until we make the unconscious conscious,
It will rule our life and we will call it fate.
And so today,
Beloved,
Just recognizing the part of you that has resistance and coming into a deeper understanding,
Kindness and compassion towards that part of you,
Understanding that we can only go as fast as the slowest part of us feels safe enough to go.
And so taking another deep breath in,
Exhale,
Just coming into that place within you that is kind and understanding,
That can empower and support the all of you to reach your goals in the right and perfect way,
In the right and perfect time,
With love and understanding,
With motivation that's uplifting and kind.
One more deep breath in,
Exhale,
Letting go of the meditation,
Coming back into the room,
And when you're ready,
Just softly blinking open your eyes.
