Merel Maria is a certified Yin & Restorative Yoga Instructor, Trauma-informed Breath Coach and Ceremony Guide. After finishing her BSc in Political Science, Merel took a path winding through different healing modalities and yoga practices. The main inspiration that she gathered and caries forward are rooted in Nonduality, Engaged Buddhism, Living Compassion, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory and Nonviolent Communication. She brings different elements from ancient and modern wisdom into her work. Merel offers her work with the purpose of remembering the quiet truth that we are woven into a great web of life. In ceremonies, courses and retreats, a space is offered where you can return to the wisdom in your bones, the power in your words and the presence in your breath. Through embodied practices and inner exploration, we soften old conditioning and awaken to the unity that underlies all that is. As we remember our place in the greater living community and our deep belonging to this earth, our own inner transformation becomes a contribution, supporting a collective shift toward compassion, wisdom and reciprocity with life.
