Transcript

You find yourself standing at the edge of a crystal clear pond.

The warm water gently laps over the top of your toes.

You notice the sounds around you.

The flutter of a butterfly.

The hum of a bumblebee.

You notice how peaceful this place is.

You sit next to the water's edge and place your hands in your lap.

And take three deep breaths.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Two more.

Inhale.

Exhale.

One more.

Breathe in.

And let it go.

You begin to make circles with your feet in the water.

And as the sun begins to set,

You hear the chirping of crickets and the ribbits of frogs.

An adorable squirrel greets you.

He is holding a nut.

He offers you this nut and you gently take it.

Holding it in your hands,

You say thank you.

You begin to realize that this nut is a magic nut.

Any sadness you have felt.

Any worry.

Even anger.

It begins to fade away.

With this magic nut in your hand,

You begin to realize how many happy moments you have had.

How many wonderful gifts and blessings there are in your life.

Can you count them?

You reflect on good times and the people who love you.

The squirrel begins to smile as he sees that you have learned how special this magic nut is.

You take three more deep breaths.

Breathe in.

Hold at the top.

Breathe out.

Two more.

One more.

You swirl your feet in the warm water once more,

Splashing just a little on the squirrel.

He shakes and smiles and looks like he is dancing.

And once again,

You feel happy in your belly.

You stand and notice how peaceful you feel.

Calm.

And as you begin to leave,

You know that if you are ever feeling sad,

If you are worried or afraid,

Or even if you are angry,

You can come to this place and your new squirrel friend will offer you a magic nut to find your feelings of happiness again.

Don't leave.
