Hi there,
This is Akasha and I want to welcome you to this Rainbow Meditation.
Take a few moments to get comfortable.
Remember,
Anytime we meditate together,
You could always be in a chair,
In a reclined position,
Or seated on the floor with your back against the wall for a little extra support.
I'll give you the next few breaths,
We'll say five breaths,
To settle into the seat of your choice.
As you're settling into your particular seat,
You'll eventually allow your eyes to close.
Allow a lot of the larger external muscles to relax.
So that you're supported,
But with minimal effort.
Making any last little adjustments you feel you need to make,
So that you could be 10% more comfortable.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose,
And breathe it out slowly through your mouth.
Let's do that two more times.
Breath in through the nose,
Slowly out through the mouth.
And again.
Now bring your lips together,
Allow your jaw to remain relaxed,
And come back home to your natural breath rhythm.
Take the next few moments here to just settle into your natural breath rhythm.
Now begin to imagine a big beautiful rainbow in front of you.
As you see this big beautiful rainbow,
You can see all of its colors.
And it's so big and bright that you can even feel the colors.
Take the next five breaths here,
To see a big beautiful rainbow,
All of its colors.
Feel all those beautiful radiant colors.
As you're looking at this big beautiful rainbow,
Imagine the color red is glowing brighter than the rest,
And there is red all around you.
Breathe the color red into your body,
And as you do this think to yourself,
I am safe.
Say to yourself mentally,
I feel safe.
Now imagine the color orange is glowing brighter,
And the orange is all around you.
Breathe in this orange color and think to yourself,
I feel my feelings stirring in my body.
Say mentally to yourself,
I feel peaceful.
Next imagine the color yellow is glowing and is all around you.
Breathe in this yellow color and think to yourself,
I am powerful.
Say to yourself mentally,
I feel confident.
Now imagine the color green is glowing brighter,
And there is green all around you.
Breathe in this color green.
Think to yourself,
My family and friends love me,
And I love them.
Say mentally to yourself,
I feel loved.
Imagine the color light blue is getting brighter,
And that this light blue is all around you.
Breathe in this glowing light blue.
And think to yourself,
People listen when I talk,
And I am a good listener.
Say mentally to yourself,
I feel heard.
Now imagine the color dark blue also called indigo is getting brighter,
And indigo is all around you.
Breathe in this indigo color and think to yourself,
I have a great imagination.
Say mentally to yourself now,
I see great things happening for me.
Now imagine the color purple is getting brighter,
And the color purple is all around you.
Breathe in purple.
Think to yourself,
I am wise.
Say to yourself mentally,
I am intelligent.
As you're here,
Take another look at your big,
Bright,
Beautiful rainbow,
And notice if you see anything.
As you continue to look at this beautiful rainbow,
Do you feel anything?
Or hear anything?
Do you notice anything else here as you gaze at that big,
Beautiful,
Bright rainbow?
Now slowly begin to take a deep breath in,
And wiggle your toes,
And then exhale,
Release that breath when you're ready.
Take another deep breath in,
And wiggle your fingers.
As you feel ready,
You'll release that breath.
Take one more big,
Deep breath in,
Stretching any way that feels right to you.
When you're ready,
You'll release that breath,
And very slowly open your eyes.
