Hello,
Good day and welcome to a grounding meditation with me Naomi.
Now for today's meditation I want you to find a comfortable seat or position.
Taking yourself outside for this meditation will actually be super beneficial and it will allow you to connect more deeply with Mother Nature herself.
Finding somewhere quiet where you can sit and feel at peace I want you to place your feet or hands on the ground whether that be stood sat or lay down.
Now allow your eyes to become heavy and gently close.
Just take this time to focus on the breath.
Allow it to become deep and slow.
As you inhale feel the air surging through your body nourishing every organ reaching every corner.
As you exhale strive to expel all of the air within and start the cycle once again inhaling deeply and exhaling every part of the breath.
Continue with this pace of breath take it slow and steady and throughout this meditation I want you to use your breath as your focal point.
Anytime your mind begins to wander just bring it back to the breath.
I want you to become aware of your connection with the ground.
How does the earth feel?
What is the temperature?
The texture?
Feel the Earth's support below you,
The connection with all parts of your body.
How does the Earth rise and support every part of your being?
Now imagine roots growing from within and connecting into the ground,
Growing down into the ground,
Drawing through energy from the ground into your very being.
Feel the strength of the earth work through your body.
The earth is sharing its resilience,
Strength,
Energy and force.
Become aware of the power that the earth holds and shares with you in this moment and not only in this moment but through every day of your life.
Whenever you may feel weak channel the strength of the earth.
Whenever you feel like giving up channel its resilience.
Whenever you feel in lack channel the energy to provide,
Build and support.
The earth is here to catch you whenever you fall.
In this and every moment from now remind yourself that the earth is here for every day to come and no matter what you do the earth will provide you with the strength and support you need.
Take a deep cleansing breath here,
Deep inhale through the nose and when you're ready to exhale allow the mouth to open gently and expand all of the air out the mouth.
And when you're ready take one more deep cleansing breath in through the nose and out the mouth.
Allow yourself to regulate your breathing once again and when you're ready just gently allow your eyes to open coming back to the room feeling nourished and grounded and ready to take on the rest of the day.
