Welcome.

I'm so glad you're here.

This is a short,

Gentle pause.

A moment to return to yourself.

To settle.

To land.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Seated or lying down.

Let your body be supported in a way that feels kind.

If it feels okay,

You might close your eyes or soften your gaze.

There's no right way,

Just what feels safe and comfortable in this moment.

Let's begin with a soft breath.

Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.

Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.

Feel your jaw soften.

Let your tongue rest gently in your mouth.

Remove your tongue from the top of your mouth.

Begin to notice where your body meets the ground beneath you.

The steadiness of your seat.

The support of the floor or the cushion beneath you.

With your next inhale,

Imagine the breath gently expanding your chest.

And as you exhale,

Feel yourself softening just a little more.

Melting into this moment.

If it feels comforting,

You can place one hand over your heart or on your belly.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath beneath your hand.

There is nothing to do.

Nowhere to be.

This is your time,

Your space,

And your breath.

If thoughts come in,

That's perfectly okay.

Just notice them.

Gently guide your attention back to your breath or the feeling of your body supported.

Let's stay here for a few quiet breaths together.

Continue to notice the rise and fall of your breath beneath your hand.

If it feels helpful,

You might silently say to yourself,

I am home in my body.

I am grounded.

I am allowed to rest.

Let these words settle gently into your body like a soft blanket.

I am home in my body.

I am grounded.

I am allowed to rest.

Now begin to notice the space around you again.

Maybe you hear distant sounds.

Maybe you feel air against your skin.

Just notice without rushing.

Begin to bring small movements into your fingers or toes.

Let your awareness grow a little wider with each breath.

Roll out wrists and ankles and bring more movement into the body.

When it feels right,

Gently open your eyes,

Returning to your space.

Know that you can return to this pause anytime you need it.

I am Steph from Mountain and Moon Healing.

Thank you so much for taking this moment to come home to yourself.
