My Ngoc To is a clinical social worker, writer, and mindfulness researcher. Her name, pronounced “ME knock,” means beautiful pearl in Vietnamese. A Vipassana meditator, she began teaching mindfulness out of a desire to share the many benefits of her personal practice with others. For the last two years she has taught mindfulness for the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion and Harvard University. Her teachings are trauma-informed and guided by values of choice and simplicity.
