Welcome today to your day 2 social media detox journey.

Today's theme is grounding.

Let's begin finding stillness whether you're sitting or lying down.

Allow the body to arrive.

Let your hands rest naturally and let your eyes soften or close.

Take a deep breath and slowly exhale.

Let yourself fully land here in this moment.

Again deep breath and exhale.

As you do,

Gently let go of whatever is carrying you today.

Now simply notice how does your body feel right now,

What emotions are moving through you and what energy is within you.

Just observe,

No need to fix anything.

Just allow yourself to be.

Now I invite you to reflect for a moment on something very important and powerful.

How often do we reach for our phones?

Sometimes without even realizing.

Social media does connect us but also it leaves us feeling overstimulated,

Anxious and distracted.

Endless scrolling can pull us out of the present moment and that's why I'm here for you.

During these 10 days we're going to learn how to avoid feeling trapped in social media.

Let's quiet down that comparison,

That noise and that mental clutter.

It just disconnect us from our own wisdom,

From our body and our heart.

This space is for you.

This meditation right now is for you.

Let's return to ourselves,

To our own sanctuary.

Over the next 10 days you're invited to put your phone down,

Pause from the feed and reconnect with the real feed,

The breath,

The body,

The present moment.

Right now we're going to focus on the breath.

Feel your inhale.

Feel your lungs with air.

Enjoy this breath and exhale.

Focus on the weight of your body resting into the ground.

You are supported.

You are held.

Let's imagine that you're growing roots down from your spine,

Down through your seed,

Down to the earth.

These roots are grounding you.

They're connecting you with what's real,

What is now.

Breathe into that grounded feeling.

Let it rise from the earth,

Through your body,

Into your awareness.

There is peace here.

There is power returning to it.

Subconsciously we're going to set an intention for the next 10 days.

I choose presence over destruction.

I come back to myself.

I am grounded.

I am whole.

Whatever speaks to you,

Hold it into your heart for a moment.

Let it echo in stillness.

Take one final deep breath in and a long exhale.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders gently.

And whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I see you tomorrow for our next social media detox.
