This is your daily guided sleep meditation for every night of the week. A guided reflection of your day, followed by a gentle closing of the evening. This course has been designed for you to listen to in the evening for deep relaxation, healing, and if you feel the need, for restorative sleep. The current seven day week was created by the Roman Empire. They ascribed a particular energy to each day of the week. For these seven meditations, at the very start of each one, we have a brief introduction to prepare you. Then we start phase 1. Here we are simply going to explore the qualities mentioned above that have been ascribed to each day. We then drift off into the second phase which gives a Solfeggio Frequency that has a specific tuning for each day. This is all in the service of activating the relaxation response within you to prepare you for relaxation, healing or deep and restorative sleep. Getting started is easy. You simply need to use the specific meditation for the day in question. Then, let go and drift into a deep and restful night’s sleep.

Lesson 1

For Monday Night

Monday is coming to a close. Monday is the Moon’s day. The Latin word for moon is "lunae," which explains why in so many languages the word for Monday includes "lu" or "lun." Named after Máni, the Viking personification of the moon. The moon has been associated with emotion. You can choose to listen and gently reflect. Or you can choose to allow the words to flow through you, without reflecting upon them, as you drift off into restful sleep. For Monday night, you will be absorbing the Solfeggio frequency of 852 Hz. This frequency awakens intuition and helps you return to spiritual balance or a greater spiritual awareness.

Lesson 2

For Tuesday Night

Tuesday is coming to a close. Tuesday is named after the planet Mars. In languages like French, Spanish, and Italian the name for Tuesday starts with "mar." The English word comes from the Old English Tiu's day; Tiu was the Viking god of war, who was associated with the planet Mars. No effort in thinking is required. If anything arises, allow it. If nothing arises, be the witness to the stillness and space within you. For Tuesday night, you will be absorbing the Solfeggio frequency of 396 Hz. Music tuned to 396 Hz helps remove subconscious fears, worries, and anxiety. It also helps to transcend any emotional blocks and limiting beliefs that block the path to achieving personal goals.

Lesson 3

For Wednesday Night

Wednesday is coming to a close. Wednesday is the day of Mercury. In most romance languages, the word for Wednesday starts with "merc," though in English the name of the day comes from Woden's day, which pays tribute to the Viking god Odin. Odin was the Raven God, is thought to be the same as Woden, Woden's day. Relax and gently allow yourself to compare the energies of this evening, or simply allow the words to flow through you as you absorb the background choir. For Wednesday night, you will be absorbing the Solfeggio frequency of 639 Hz - This ancient frequency enhances understanding, communication, love and tolerance.

Lesson 4

For Thursday Night

Thursday is coming to a close. Thursday is the Day of Jupiter. In Latin, the name for Thursday honors the god Jupiter, who is responsible for thunder and lightning. In English, the name derives from the corresponding Viking god, Thor, the god of strength. No effort in thinking is required. Tonight is no exception. If anything arises, allow it. If nothing arises, be the witness to the stillness and space within you as you drift away into restful sleep. For Thursday night, you will be absorbing the frequency of 432 Hz. This frequency is widely used and accepted. It is not part of the Solfeggio scale, but is often included for sound healing because it is often referred to as the frequency of the universe.

For Friday Night

Friday is coming to a close. Friday is the Day of Venus. The French name for this day is Vendredi. The English name comes from the goddess Freya, who, like Venus, is the goddess of love and beauty. Frigg is thought to be a duplication of Freya, making them one and the same. Thus, the name Frigg’s day. Relax and gently allow yourself to compare the energies of this evening, or simply allow the words to flow through you as you absorb once again the background choir, preparing you for deep sleep. For Friday night, you will be absorbing the Solfeggio frequency of 528 Hz. This is one of the most popular frequencies used as it is thought to increase mental clarity, conscious and intuitive perception.

For Saturday Night

Saturday is coming to a close. Saturday is Saturn‘s Day. Saturday is unique. It is the only day of the week to retain its Roman origin. Saturn, also known as Saturnus, was the Roman god of wealth, agriculture, liberation and time. No effort in thinking is required. Tonight is no exception. If anything arises, allow it. If nothing arises, be the witness to the stillness and space within you as you drift away into restful sleep. For Saturday night, you will be absorbing the Solfeggio frequency of 396 Hz. We used the same frequency for Tuesdays meditation. Certain emotions can keep us from taking action, pursuing adventures, or doing things from the heart. Music tuned to 396 Hz helps to transcend these emotional blocks and limiting beliefs that we all have in some way or form.

For Sunday Night

Sunday is coming to a close. Sunday is the Day of The Sun. This is straight forward in the English language. However, most Romance languages adopted a different name for the day, based on Christian beliefs. For example, in Italian the name of the day is Domenico, which means "Day of the Lord." Relax and gently allow yourself to compare the energies of this evening, or simply allow the words to flow through you as you absorb the background choir. For Sunday night, you will be absorbing the frequency of 432 Hz. This frequency was used for Thursday night. As specified on Thursday, this is not part of the Solfeggio scale, However, it is often included for sound healing. This is because it is often referred to as the frequency of the universe. Just like all the Solfeggio frequencies for each of the days, this is a frequency that resonates well with the energy of this evening.

Unusual practice that I immensely enjoyed. Using language to close out the day knowing a new me would be able to handle what comes the next day was helpful. I noticed less ruminating after the session ended. I also enjoyed experiencing the different frequencies of music, If there was anything I would change it would be the toggling between the male and female voice and echoing of words from time to time. There was a momentarily switch in my brain that turned me from the calm to alert when it went from male to female. It could be my sensitivity to sound. Regardless, this course is fantastic.

I love this concept and like that it incorporates sound healing frequencies in addition to the meditation. I’m not accustomed to doing an evening meditation with more than one guide & found myself being startled a few times when the new voice chimed in. Since I really like the intentions offered I will be trying the course again to see if I can adjust.
