In honor of Earth Month, try this short Grounding guided meditation. In just 3-minutes, you'll feel more connected to the earth's energy and your breath, helping you find inner peace & harmony. Take a moment to find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. As you breathe deeply, imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet deep into the earth, tapping into the powerful and nurturing energy of our planet.

Welcome to this three minutes grounding meditation.

Grounding allows us to connect to the healing power of the earth.

Practice this grounding meditation either seated or standing by going outside with your bare feet on the ground.

Now checking in with your body and your breath slowly take a deep breath in and as you do notice your body as you inhale.

Now take a long breath out while becoming aware of how your body feels during the exhale.

Now closing your eyes connect to the breath breathing in and out while becoming aware of the sensations and feelings in your body as you breathe.

Now feel how you connect to the ground and if your mind wanders simply imagine each thought being a leaf that is blowing with the wind and just being aware no need to control it.

Pausing in between the breaths of inhale and exhale just taking your time being present with your breath as you connect your body and your breath to the earth's energy.

Now bringing both hands in front of your heart in prayer gesture offer gratitude to your body and your mind for taking this time for yourself to be present through the energy of the earth and affirm I am grounded.

I am grounded.

I am grounded stable and energized.
