Hello everyone,
Welcome to this meditation on the power of noticing.
To just notice is such a simple and beautiful thing.
It is such an extraordinary superpower for peeling back the skin of the self and revealing the true nature of who you are inside.
Let's begin.
Just finding a comfortable space for yourself.
A space where you feel at ease and safe.
Sitting or lying down on whatever structure you feel is good for you.
Feeling the structure beneath the body.
Feeling how it supports your sit bones and your back.
Feeling the safety and security it provides for your body.
Looking after it,
Supporting it,
Allow this safe and supported feeling to develop.
It spreads out over you and the structure that you are on.
Cocooning you in this bubble of safety.
Putting your responsibilities outside the bubble for now.
Leaving them there,
Your job,
Career,
Relationship,
Leave it all there for now.
Even leaving the mind there,
Leaving it outside.
Notice what's going on inside this moment.
Come in here to this moment.
Inside the bubble.
Inside the presence.
Whatever you are feeling,
You are just noticing.
Nothing has to come up in particular.
There's nothing for you to do.
Nowhere for you to go.
Just allow your system to be natural.
Whatever comes is for the highest and greatest good of yourself.
You may notice your emotions,
Your body,
Your mind.
There's no classification.
Whether it feels good or bad or neutral,
It's all okay.
There's nothing that's better than the other.
No ideals,
No right,
No wrong.
Notice.
Notice the sensations within.
Maybe you could feel tingling,
Warmness,
Coldness,
Pain,
Pleasure,
Lightness,
Tightness,
Heaviness,
A pressure feeling.
Notice how the sensations move.
How they dance within your body.
Are they deep?
Are they superficial?
If you feel nothing,
Feel nothing.
Truly feel it.
There is nothing wrong with nothingness.
Remembering you are so safe inside the safety ball.
Nothing can harm you when you are noticing.
There is nothing you are missing out on in the outside world that isn't in the inside world.
Ponder upon that.
Be curious.
Learn from whatever comes.
No stories added to it.
No fabrications.
Notice actuality.
The actuality within.
No matter what happens,
Be here.
You are cocooned and protected.
Noticing the subtleties of each moment.
The potential heavy feeling in your chest.
The blackness behind your eyelids.
The twitch in your foot.
Letting go into the abyss of nothing.
Questioning nothing.
Letting go into the abyss of nothing.
In these moments,
You are noticing life.
Whatever that may be.
No add-ons needed.
It is enough.
If you get lost in the momentum of any thoughts or stories,
Coming back to that noticing.
Beyond it all.
Now as this meditation comes to an end,
Know that the present will never end.
Although moments will go,
They will be immediately replaced once again.
The power of noticing can allow us to depersonalize these moments.
And allow ourselves to take a back seat.
Decreasing identification with the inevitabilities of life.
So when you're ready to finish with this meditation,
Just stretching your body around if you wish.
Remaining in this moment.
