Let's begin by closing your eyes and take a few relaxing deep breaths.

Breathing out stress tension and tightness and breathing in beautiful clean energy.

As you do this you'll find your body relaxing more and more with each breath.

Imagine that you can actually breathe out the stresses and tensions that you store in your body and that you can breathe in the beautiful energy that is all around you.

And as you do this breathing out stress and breathing out tension you'll find your body relaxing more and more with each breath.

Allow your muscles to completely relax.

Relax the muscles in your face and in your jaw letting go of all tightness,

All tension in these muscles.

Sometimes people who suffer from headaches,

Neck pain,

Jaw problems are clenching their teeth too tightly as a result of stress.

So just let your face,

Your jaw completely relax.

And now completely relax the muscles of your neck.

Letting go of all tightness and all tension in these muscles.

Feel your neck so soft,

So relaxed as you go deeper and deeper into a beautiful state of peace and calm and serenity.

This is healthy for you,

Healthy for your body and healthy for your mind.

To relax completely,

To let go of tension,

To let go of tightness.

To feel the beautiful peace that is always around you and within you.

And so you feel deeper and deeper relaxed with each breath.

Now completely relax the muscles of your shoulders.

People who carry too much responsibility often carry too much tightness in their shoulders.

Let your shoulders completely relax.

And now relax the muscles of your back,

Both the upper back and the lower back.

Letting go of all tension.

People who have back pain often tense these muscles because of stress.

So let your back muscles completely relax.

Let go of these tensions and allow yourself to go even deeper.

You'll be able to follow my voice and allow other thoughts to come and go.

Next,

Completely relax the muscles of your arms,

So soft,

So loose.

And now completely relaxing the muscles of your abdomen and your stomach so that your breathing stays perfectly relaxed as you go even deeper and deeper.

And now completely relax the muscles of your legs so that your whole body is now going deeper and deeper into a beautiful state of peace and calm and serenity.

Knowing that this state is so healthy for you,

For your body,

For your mind.

Let go of all your stresses and tensions to find that inner peace.

Go within.

And so you can let yourself go even deeper now.

And as you stay in this beautiful state of peace and calm,

Of relaxation,

Of tranquility,

As you find the peace all around you and within you,

Know that you have the ability to let go of stress and tension.

You have the ability to relax.

Whenever you want,

Whenever you need,

Just by focusing on these muscles,

Allowing them to completely relax,

By following your breath,

Breathing out stresses and tension,

Breathing in beautiful energy and going deeper and deeper into this beautiful state of peace,

Calm and tranquility.

You always have this power,

This ability to control your breathing whenever you need to,

Whenever you want to.

To go within and break the cycle of stress and tension before it even begins.

Imagine now there's a beautiful light above your head.

This is a healing light,

A relaxing light,

A deepening light.

You can choose the colour or colours of this bright light.

This is a healing light because as it flows down your body,

It will heal every organ,

Every fibre,

Every cell of your body.

This is a deepening light because it will bring you deeper and deeper levels of peace and calm.

This is a spiritual light connected to the universe.

Let the light come into your body now,

Through the top of your head,

Illuminating your brain and flowing down from your head to your toes like a beautiful wave of light.

And the light flows all the way into your heart,

Your beautiful heart,

Healing your heart and allowing the loving energy of your heart to flow throughout your body,

Bringing healing and relief everywhere.

And the light fills up all the organs in your abdomen,

Healing these,

Releasing discomfort and restoring them to perfect health.

The light fills up all of the muscles and nerves and bones of your body,

Your back,

Everywhere,

Bringing relief,

Bringing healing and allowing you to go even deeper.

Let the light be very strong,

Immensely powerful wherever you need it for healing.

The light dissolves stress and tension and returns your body to a normal healthy state.

The light heals the lining of your digestive system,

Of your stomach.

It helps your heart to function normally.

It repairs your blood pressure,

Restoring your body to perfect health.

The light also helps your mind because it helps to dissolve fear,

Anxieties,

Worries.

The light helps you to get rid of sadness and guilt and anger.

The light is so peaceful,

So beautiful,

So healing.

Let it fill your body now.

Let it be very strong and enormously powerful wherever you need it for healing.

Feel the light in these areas of your body or your mind that need healing and let the rest of the light flow down both legs until it reaches your feet,

Filling your whole body with this beautiful healing light.

Let yourself go even deeper now.

It's perfectly safe to do so.

Next,

Visualize or imagine that the light also completely surrounds the outside of your body as if you're wrapped in a beautiful bubble or cocoon of light,

Protecting you completely,

Healing your skin and the outer muscles and deepening your level of relaxation even further.

In a few moments,

I will count backwards from 10 to 1.

With each number down,

Let yourself go deeper and deeper into relaxation,

So deep that the usual boundaries of space and time disappear.

So deep that you can bring healing relaxation and complete peace to every part of your body and your mind.

Deeper and deeper and deeper,

A beautiful level of peace,

Calm and serenity,

In this beautiful state of peace,

Of calm.

Imagine now that you're walking down a beautiful staircase,

Down,

Down,

Deeper and deeper,

Down,

Down,

Each step down deepening your level even more.

And as you reach the bottom of the stairs,

In front of you is a beautiful garden,

A garden of peace,

A garden of joy,

A garden of light,

Love and complete safety,

A sanctuary for you,

A haven.

The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and plants.

And imagine now that you walk into this beautiful garden and you find a place to rest.

Here your body,

Still filled with the light and surrounded by the light,

Continues to heal,

To relax,

To let go of all tensions,

Stress,

Tightness,

To repair,

To rejuvenate,

The deepest,

Deepest levels of your mind can open up.

Imagine now that a beautiful spiritual being,

Like a guide or an angel,

Comes to visit you in this garden.

This is someone who is incredibly wise,

Very loving.

Maybe there's more than one.

And imagine that you can communicate,

Whether through words or thoughts,

Feelings or visions,

Or mind-to-mind contact,

Or in any way you can communicate.

Are there any messages for you?

Just listen,

Just feel.

Feel the love,

Feel the peace,

Feel the wisdom.

Your guide or guides are going to take you on a journey of healing.

So you feel your body becoming exceptionally light as you float above the garden and you travel across vast distances of space and time.

You travel until you come to a beautiful ancient island.

The sun is shining and feels so warm.

Embedded in the floor of the sea are several large and powerful ancient healing crystals.

And these crystals impart a healing energy to the water,

So that this water is supercharged with this healing energy.

If you wish,

And if you're comfortable to do so,

Go into the water.

As you step into the water,

Immediately you feel a tingling.

The water is so powerful,

So charged with healing properties.

And the healing energy from the crystals is absorbed by your body through your skin,

Into whatever part of your body or mind needs healing.

Feel the power of the water.

If you're uncomfortable in water,

Just stay on the beach,

Feeling the powerful healing rays of the sun.

If you're in the water,

Imagine now that some beautiful,

Loving,

Tame dolphins come to swim with you for a while.

Dolphins are master healers.

They know just where in your body and in your mind that healing needs to take place,

And help heal you and restore you to perfect health,

And to get rid of stresses and tensions,

To help you find inner peace and calm.

You can swim with the dolphins.

This is such a special water,

And so you swim,

And the healing continues,

And will continue.

You can come back as often as you wish to this place,

As often as you need.

So spend a few moments now,

Feeling the powerful healing taking place,

Feeling your body completely relaxed,

Free of tension,

Free of stress,

And free of tightness.

If you're ever uncomfortable with any memory or experience or feeling,

Just detach from it,

Float above it,

And watch it from a distance as if you're watching a movie.

If you're still uncomfortable,

Go back to the beautiful garden,

And rest there as the healing and the relaxation continue.

Feel the healing.

Pay attention to feelings,

To thoughts.

Be mindful of what it is you're experiencing in your body,

In your mind,

Or even spiritually.

Feel the healing,

Feel the peace,

Feel the calm.

And now it's time to leave the water,

So you say goodbye to the dolphins for now,

And you begin to walk out of the water,

And you sit on the beautiful beach for a few moments,

And you understand much more now about healing,

And about relaxation,

And about inner peace.

You understand more about stress and tension,

And you understand that you can stop the stress reaction very early just by breathing.

Now it's time to return to full waking consciousness,

So take a few more deep,

Mindful breaths,

And then softly open your eyes.

Sit for a few moments,

And acknowledge the unique experience you had during this meditation.

Feeling peaceful,

Feeling calm.
